beeloubee · 25/09/2024 21:57

I want to hear from others vaccine injured. Please no-one come on here telling me injuries don't exist. I'm suffering so much since pfizer two with musculoskeletal issues. On 9th surgery since it. Was fit and healthy before working as a postwoman. Mid thirties. Can barely walk now.

I see others on fb with injuries. But never seen it mentioned on mumsnet which is odd. I would like to know if there's anyone here. Thanks.

I'd like to think these threads aren't normally abundant in MN as most of us have a bit more critical reasoning than your average Facebook scaremonger. None of you can say for definite that it was caused by the vaccine, it's most likely coincidence. I for one am very grateful to live in a county where we have access to lifesaving vaccines. Not everyone in the world is so fortunate. What would people prefer in the uk, that we offer no vaccines and let nature take its course? In which case a lot more of us would die each year for definite.

@DanielaDressen my nephew at 19 was hospitalised with blood clots on his lungs. He has been really ill and still has them in his legs. He will be on blood thinners for life. His doctors say it 'can't be ruled out' that it was the vaccine.

Icannoteven · 29/09/2024 18:43

I developed pain in my thyroid instantly after my second Moderna shot - felt terrible for ages. Was diagnosed as hashimotos and later hypothyroid. I am convinced, because of the sudden onset of symptoms that it was the Moderna vaccine. I had never had that type of pain in my throat/neck before.

Exactly what they said to Dd. On thinners for life, can’t rule out a vaccine injury but won’t commit to it.

I think I’d you’ve read my post then I said I’m pro vax. And l was very thankful for my vaccine initially.

Buy you haven’t had your life turned upside down by a vaccine injury. Which you never expected and or wanted because you support vaccines

I think it’s highly unlikely that my 2 hugely life changing and sudden reactions came out of nowhere both within 7 days of a vaccine and both identical. Except the last one was more severe. Try looking up Long Vax or Covid Vax syndrome.

You’re safe in a life where this hasn’t happened and are making assumption about something you’ve never dealt with

My reaction was so severe Pfizer contacted my gp. Why did they do that if it was ‘co-incidental?’ My GP was really shocked..

Why do you think no one has suffered an injury? All vaccines cause harm to
some people. Why is the Covid vaccine different? I couldn’t wait to get my vaccine, and completely support them. Your belief is so facile. Should we be thankful that we live somewhere that produces vaccines that harmed us?

3 friends of mine got frozen shoulder after the vaccine. Inexperienced staff\volunteers giving the vaccine. It should be injected into the deltoid muscle my nurse friend says. If too high or too low that's when problems occur.

I was one of the PPs who brought this up. Basically all IM vaccinations should be given in the deltoid on the outside of the upper arm as @christmascalypso says. But flu jabs will usually be effective (and not cause side effects) if they are injected into this general area. Covid vaccinations on the other hand need to be quite precise – too high into the shoulder joint or too low into tendons and soft tissue can both cause problems.

It's possible that some people accustomed to giving flu jabs have become a little blase and/or don't realise the need for precision where Covid jabs are concerned.

loulouljh · 29/09/2024 19:10

No thank goodness because I didn't take that shit...but sadly know many people who have. I hope you manage to get some decent compensation....all for a jab most people did not need at all.

And this is what does my head in

The anti vaxxers jump on and say well this why you shouldn’t have had it.

I don’t align with this l wanted my vaccine and it harmed me. I still want one and I’m gutted l can’t have any more. It’s anti vaxxers that are stopping this whole vaccine harm thing coming out into the open. This is why it’s hidden all the time.

Mari2003 · 29/09/2024 19:19

No issue with the vaccines but I have an autoimmune condition caused by Covid So I’m always very up to date with vaccinations now.

Am not an anti-vaxxer and didn't say why she shouldn't have had it! Have had all vaccines up to covid but something about it (or many things about it) didn't feel right to me. So please don't throw insults around..its not helpful at all.

I wasn’t blaming you! There were several posts about it. I would have quoted you if l was speaking about you.

Sunnnybunny72 · 29/09/2024 19:26

Ongoing cardiac issues requiring an ablation. Still not right.
Within a day of my last vaccine I was back in A&E with inappropriate tachycardia.
Permanent pulsatile tinnitus.
Caused by the vaccine, who knows?
I'm a nurse that has vaccinated for over thirty years but no more COVID vaccine for me.

CuttySarcasm · 29/09/2024 19:28

I’m very pro vaccine, and I’ve a friend who got long covid, it’s destroyed her. So vaccines are still important and Covid was hellish in itself.

But my sister got myocarditis from a Covid vaccine and was told never to have one again.

BUT I am an advocate for the vaccine still, it’s small % that was negatively affected due to the millions that had it, and it undoubtedly saved thousands of lives.

But we can’t ignore the poor people that have suffered. When they were trying to do the right thing, and are left with life limiting injuries.

7 days after first Pfizer vax I developed incredibly painful boobs, so genuinely uncomfortable I was considering going to the GP. Significant increase in vaginal discharge - classic PMS symptoms. A week later, I had a period. And I’m 4 years post menopause!

I was really frightened until I saw an interview with Tim Spector of the Zoe Study saying exactly this sort of case was being reported by quite a few women. My one and only vaccine was 3 years ago and that was the only time I experienced such bizarre side effects, so it had to be directly vaccine related.

My sil had a period after a COVID vaccine, not had one for years. Wouldn't call it a vaccine injury, interesting side effect though!

Crikeyalmighty · 29/09/2024 19:38

I developed loads of neurological shit totally out the blue within 3 days of 4th Pfizer vaccine and ironically got 2nd dose of covid around same time, so I couldn't say if it was covid or vaccine but was certainly one or the other- weird dizziness/spacey feeling- ridiculous amount of pins and needles and buzzing in feet and an odd finger , a heavy leg on one side, internal vibrations, burning on forehead - a lot of it has calmed down 2 years later , but left me with bad intermittent headaches in back of head and sore dry eyes- all horrible!!

Newdaylucky · 29/09/2024 19:39

I developed a frozen shoulder about two years ago - it’s much better, but still not back to normal. No one can say how or why this happened, but anecdotally I have heard there’s been a huge rise in instances of frozen shoulder since the covid jabs started.

MasterShardlake · 29/09/2024 19:42

3 wks after the second covid vac I got painful swollen joints, hands, feet, knees etc. Was told it was a side effect of the vac and might last a few months then go away.
It didn't, it got worse and I was eventually diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
The rheumatologist said there was no way of knowing for sure if the vac had caused my RA but he was seeing other patients who'd had the same thing happen.

christmascalypso · 29/09/2024 19:42

My concern is with the MRNA vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer). Although they were working on the technology for years, they had never done any major clinical trials (correct me if I'm wrong please) and there are no longitudinal research studies. We don't know about the long term effects of these types of vaccines yet and after my experience with developing a tic disorder after the Moderna vaccine, I won't be having any more MRNA vaccines.

Crikeyalmighty · 29/09/2024 19:43

@Icanseeinthedark the neurologist I saw said the same to me too -

I was told to not have any more MNRA’s

Im considering Novavax

In 20 years they’ll be massive government payouts on these. Just like infected blood etc.

What a load of cod this thread is. Totally irresponsible
People are posting all sorts of nonsensical conditions and saying their doctor said it was from the vaccine. This is pure propaganda and should be pulled

And they would have seen cases even if the vaccine hadn't been rolled out...

Would you like to see the letter from the rheumatologist?

Arent you lucky that you weren’t harmed? So smug and complacent to say this thread is rubbish.

This type of thinking is really astonishing, almost unbelievable really.
