Anyone else here have covid vaccine injury?

I want to hear from others vaccine injured. Please no-one come on here telling me injuries don't exist. I'm suffering so much since pfizer two with musculoskeletal issues. On 9th surgery since it. Was fit and healthy before working as a postwoman. Mid thirties. Can barely walk now.

I see others on fb with injuries. But never seen it mentioned on mumsnet which is odd. I would like to know if there's anyone here. Thanks.

No, that's not exactly the case. I'm sure you're right that it was all a bit rushed but that in itself wouldn't have mattered had they been done correctly. This issue with the Covid vaccine is that it should be administered differently from the flu vaccine, but often both were being done by the same people and either it wasn't explained to them (or they didn't listen because they thought they already knew). Bit of a shitshow really.

I have psoriasis since April 2024. My dermatologist said it has likely been as a result of the covid vaccine since I have never had it before and have not had any of the usual triggers like stress etc. It just started out of nowhere. Anyone else?

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 28/09/2024 23:02

I've had loads of covid vaccines and they're nothing. Same for everyone I know. They're not a big deal at all-for practically anybody. The recorded problems are infinitesimally small , statistically. Mainly just a couple of days sore arm etc whilst your body's immune system is reacting.

Two things that I think it's important I start with: I am an ex-nurse, and very pro-vaccines; it's very hard to know if problems have been caused by the vaccine or by covid itself (as many cases went/still go undetected).

My story is that, shortly after my second vaccine, I developed tinnitus and alopecia areata. Both continue, several years later. I spoke to my GP about it who said that, in her opinion, it was most likely the vaccine (I was constantly testing for covid due to my job, so didn't appear to have had it), as she had seen this reaction in a number of patients.

I have continued to have all the vaccines that I'm eligible for and, as I still work in a high-risk area, but am not eligible for a booster for some time, have recently paid for a Novavax shot.

Me too! Never thought of the alopecia it being Covid. Tinnitus definitely was as had lots of hearing loss during then after that got mostly better but tinnitus remained. Why would it cause alopecia though?

I had no idea about that, wow!

Fashiononono · 29/09/2024 05:20

Alopecia areata here too, though my GP would not confirm correlation to the vaccine. So maybe a coincidence but I've heard of other cases, as this thread confirms. At its worse I lost a huge amount of hair at the back but it has largely grown back now, but all white! I'll take white hair over no hair tho. If we had another serious wave and I was offered a vaccine I'd have to seriously consider whether I would accept it.

Bestyearever2024 · 29/09/2024 06:18

Yes. After the astrazenica (1st) vaccine I got horrendous headaches and tinnitus

It was at the time where it was thought AZ could cause blood clots

So I had to have an MRI where they found something unusual in my brain , so another MRI .....yada yada

In the end (after 18 months) it was decided all was well 😬

But I wasn't allowed to have the AZ vaccine again. Not that I wanted it! And I still have awful tinnitus

DanceTheDevilBackIntoHisHole · 29/09/2024 14:11

@Fashiononono my brother's hair is snow white when it grows back too. It's still very patchy though so he shaved his head. Has no eyebrows and hairless legs.

FerienInLipizza · 29/09/2024 14:14

I had the vaccine injected under my periosteum. Bloody hell that was painful and I still get pain from it occasionally.

princesspadam · 29/09/2024 14:19

Are all these injuries / issues from one particular vaccine (AZ)

pleasehelp1908 · 29/09/2024 14:27

I have VITT - vaccine induced thrombosis and thrombocytopenia from the jab. One of about 400 people in the uk diagnosed with it and one of about 300 that survived

TakeMe2Insanity · 29/09/2024 14:30

Both my mum and aunty (her sister) got arterial fibrilation. Their respective cardiologists confirmed the uptick post vaccinations.

Redannie118 · 29/09/2024 14:38

I developed shingles that covered my entire right side and back that lasted almost 4 months after my AZ jab. I was in utterly excruciating pain the whole time and could barely move. It came up 4 days after the jab and despite it being listed as a known side effect every doctor and nurse I saw told me that it wasn't the vaccine. I'm now so badly scarred I look like I've been burned and still have neuropathic pain 3 years on.

roses2 · 29/09/2024 14:41

My brother had a seizure not long after his third dose. Can't remember if he had Moderna or Pfizer or a mix. Just randomly collapsed in the street.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 29/09/2024 14:46

Pro vaxxer here.

Injuries after both MNRA vaccines. No one recognised the first one, so l has a second. Severe chronic fatigue ( couldn’t get out of bed) blinding headaches. Came on with 7 days of the vaccine twice. Like a thunderclap. Been A and E twice.

No problems with AZ.

Im a pro vaxxer. All this information is suppressed. Look at Brianne Dressen. Dropped from vaccine trials due to vax injury.

Yes, because the powers that be are reluctant to attribute issues to the virus, as people are then eligible for compensation from the government vaccine damage fund, among other things

iamthefox · 29/09/2024 14:55

I developed alopecia areata after the second Pfizer vaccine. It took all my scalp hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. 3 years later I have a bit of regrowth but it's totally white, brittle and slow growing.

I make the best of it with wigs but I am quietly devastated by it. Never would have had the vaccine had I known, have refused all the boosters and have not permitted covid vaccination for my children.

Sympathies to all those who have conditions triggered either by the vaccine or covid itself.

makingmakingbaconpancakes · 29/09/2024 15:00

I happily had all my vaccines, and have subsequently developed very high blood pressure which my GP can find absolutely no reason for in terms of other health problems / lifestyle etc. I'm absolutely convinced it's related to the vaccine.

Have you also had your thyroid checked? That is, a full one with antibodies included? The bog standard NHS one doesn't always include the antibodies. Best to do it privately or specifically request one with antibodies from your doctor. It can also decimate your hair like that and it can grow back whispy and grey. Covid is known to throw thyroid levels off in people with autoimmune thyroid disease and it may induce it. My doctor wouldn't even refer me to Covid Clinic without a thyroid check up as it is so prevalent a feature of Covid.

I'm really about the loss of your hair, I've had that burden for 30 years. You get used to it but it hurts. Nothing vain or trivial about it💐

My friends mum developed Guillaine-Barre syndrome directly and officially attributed
to the vaccine. She has had to learn to walk again. It was horrific.
For me, not an injury but my periods stopped for a year,
I am cross with myself for having it tbh. Never again.

I also know someone who developed GBS and was in hospital for almost 6 months. Completely paralysed, it was terrible. Started a week after her booster and has also been directly attributed to the vaccine.

Herewegoagain5 · 29/09/2024 16:44

I ended up with Crohn’s disease after a mild case of Covid

FixTheBone · 29/09/2024 16:51

Wonderballs · 27/09/2024 09:33

Even accepted vaccine injuries can be found to be coincidental later. Many teenagers were compensated for developing narcolepsy after the swine flu vaccine, but in the end the rate of narcolepsy was found to be as expected for the year, so no new cases had arisen.

Precisely this.

Correlation does not mean causation.

There's a 100% correlation between drinking water, and subsequently dying.

A heck of a lot of people had the vaccines, so pulling apart spiradic illness vs that caused by the vaccine might be almost impossible if its a condition that has a reasonbly high occurrence anyway.

YesIJudge · 29/09/2024 16:55

I really don't know to be honest. I developed some very odd symptoms after my 4th vaccine (vulnerable) and have had so many tests. Basically they never found out what was making me feel so unwell and I was told it 'could' have been the vaccine. My symptoms have subsided considerably after 2 years but I haven't had another booster since as I'm just too scared to. I've had covid twice.
