Anyone else here have covid vaccine injury?

beeloubee · 25/09/2024 21:57

I want to hear from others vaccine injured. Please no-one come on here telling me injuries don't exist. I'm suffering so much since pfizer two with musculoskeletal issues. On 9th surgery since it. Was fit and healthy before working as a postwoman. Mid thirties. Can barely walk now.

I see others on fb with injuries. But never seen it mentioned on mumsnet which is odd. I would like to know if there's anyone here. Thanks.

DH: reactive arthritis after Covid jab plus bad bout of Covid 2wks after jab.

IndiganDop · 29/09/2024 17:16

Son aged 15: pericarditis 3 weeks after second Pfizer. Doctors said was probably a coincidence (but no more vaccines just in case). Then had it again 2 weeks after catching COVID, 18 months later.
I am very fearful for his future.

IndigoIsMyFavouriteColour · 29/09/2024 17:19

ME after vax and booster... I am a totally different person now and attribute it to both the vaccines and having COVID which really messed me up for months.

Coconuthotchocolate · 29/09/2024 17:21

Yes ptisoris rosacea - never had skin problems before 2nd jab. Still have awful dry patches flare up now 3 years later.

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 29/09/2024 17:23

Hope this post isn’t irrelevant, OP. If it is , I apologise

I refused the vaccine , I am careful about all forms of drugs (always read the leaflet inside the box, look things up on the web etc). When I saw that possible side effects of the vaccine included an allergic reaction, I turned it down. I have had three bouts of anaphylactic shock, two never traced to a causative, so I wasn’t taking a chance with an untried vaccine for what was not necessarily a serious illness.

My GP surgery rang to check/ encourage me to take it up; when I explained my reason for refusal they told me they could arrange for steroid injections and breathing apparatus in case I had a bad reaction. I politely said I’d rather take my chance with the virus , whilst thinking ‘ wow, they aren’t even surprised!’.

I haven’t had Covid to date ( or if I have it has been asymptomatic). I encouraged DH not have anymore after the booster, He hasn’t had Covid either. Two of my friends who have taken up the first four have been quite seriously unwell with Covid, worse each time.

I doubt we will ever know the whole story, although the lab leak which everyone said was only believed by the tinfoil hat wearers now seems to be pretty widely accepted.

Sadly Mumsnet don't allow anything against the vaccine. They delete anything that's even remotley anti vax, even if it's offical scientific papers

I'd like full transparency to know
Whether they were paid to promote the vaccine.

We knew it was a very bad idea to take the jabs and were ridiculed and posts removed on social media.

Now we know know we were right not to have them.

PlatinumBrunette · 29/09/2024 17:30

A good friend is very seriously vaccine injured - collapsed and blue lighted to hospital 8 hours after her first jab. She’s been hospitalised several times, has ongoing issues and has fought very, very hard for her life, and for others in similar situations.

The amount of cover-ups and dismissal is shocking.

DanielaDressen · 29/09/2024 17:32

Dd got multiple clots in her lungs and nearly died shortly after her vaccine. She had no risk factors, not on the pill, not overweight, hadn’t been on a plane. Has since been tested for clotting disorders and they haven’t found any. But they won’t officially put it down as a vaccine injury as they said well it could be one of those flukes of nature…..at 21yo?! 🤷‍♀️

DanielaDressen · 29/09/2024 17:36

Dh developed a rare 2 in a million autoimmune illness, but it could also have been caused by Covid. There’s some research which looked at the increase in autoimmune illnesses in unvaccinated individuals and found an increase. www.nature.com/articles/s41584-023-00964-y#:~:text=Two%20studies%20that%20use%20large,19%3A%20a%20retrospective%20cohort%20study. www.nature.com/articles/s41584-023-00964-y#:~:text=Two%20studies%20that%20use%20large,19%3A%20a%20retrospective%20cohort%20study.]]]]

range of autoimmune illnesses seemed to increase.

Waterocean67 · 29/09/2024 17:39

Migraines . Can’t be sure but after 3 doses , I’m now an almost daily sufferer

DanielaDressen · 29/09/2024 17:40

Whereas this systematic review seems to blame autoimmune illness increase on the vaccine not covid. Only skim read it but can’t see that they have addressed the possibility that it could be covid not the vaccine causing the increase. Though they do say a cause and effect relationship isn’t proven

DS developed T1 diabetes at 33yo after a grim bout of covid. Consultant said it was almost definitely caused by covid and they saw a surge in T1 diabetes cases during covid

So caused by Covid. Not the vaccine.
This is the problem. People convinced it was the vaccine that caused long term illness when it was actually the virus that did.

smalltoe · 29/09/2024 17:47

@BloodyAdultDC

Similar, my first jab was administered by a 'volunteer' - quickly recruited, poorly trained - and I developed a frozen shoulder 3 months later, attributed to vaccine injury.
You developed frozen shoulder, an extremely common condition especially in women over 40 (no idea of your age) THREE MONTHS after the vaccine bd you want to attribute it to the vaccine?

NotStayingIn · 26/09/2024 22:17

I'm probably being thick here but how do you know you wouldn’t have gotten these things anyway? I had breast cancer after the vaccine. Do I think the vaccine gave me breast cancer? No. It’s just that it happened after the vaccine.

People are dumb

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 29/09/2024 17:48

Fair point @ArseInTheCoOpWindow !

BreatheAndFocus · 29/09/2024 17:49

All these people mentioning shoulder injuries due to wrongly administered Covid vaccines, can I ask how it’s supposed to be administered? Due mine soon but in a new venue with unknown staff, and I’d really like to know what to look out for re correction location and technique.

TIA

I have psoriasis since April 2024. My dermatologist said it has likely been as a result of the covid vaccine since I have never had it before and have not had any of the usual triggers like stress etc. It just started out of nowhere. Anyone else?

Or it's as a result of having had Covid at some point.

Unforgettablefire · 29/09/2024 18:04

Op my dd. Same age as you, fit and healthy, worked in a gym and now has severe rheumatoid arthritis and her pain and suffering is off the charts. She's on allkinds of medications it's completely ruined her life. It developed overnight after her jabs.

I'm so angry for her and anyone else that's had this happen.

ciaopizza · 29/09/2024 18:08

My mum developed takotsubo syndrome and her sister had a heart attack. Both had AZ and neither had any previous history of heart issues.

3 friends of mine got frozen shoulder after the vaccine. Inexperienced staff\volunteers giving the vaccine. It should be injected into the deltoid muscle my nurse friend says. If too high or too low that's when problems occur.

christmascalypso · 29/09/2024 18:12

And I am pro vaccines. Would have them all except MRNA vaccines. Developed mild tic disorder after Moderna vaccine. Adult onset of tic disorders is extremely rare - I have no history of tics ever before.

Icanseeinthedark · 29/09/2024 18:19

I'm pro vaccine and have have covid vaccines since my issues started as I'm now clinically extremely vulnerable.

I developed a neurological autoimmune disease after my first vaccine. My neurologist has told me that he's had a massive surge in similar cases since the pandemic however, they don't know if it's the vaccine or covid itself that's responsible.
In my case it was definitely the vaccine that kicked my immune system into overdrive.

When you have the last Covid vaccine?

Psoriasis is an immune system disorder - almost anything can trigger it, including sunburn, stress, infections and some medications. It's also genetic - runs in families. I think it would be hard to prove that a vaccine caused psoriasis.

Much appreciated @christmascalypso I hope your friends’ shoulders are ok now.

welshweasel · 29/09/2024 18:38

I had 2 AZ (was in the early trial) and one Pfizer without issue. Had Moderna booster and developed migraines the next day - initially had a constant headache for months, which eventually subsided on the 3rd migraine drug I tried, but have been left with a daily visual aura.

I won't have any more boosters.
