Steve is settled hopefully for a few hours, Beth seems to have stopped coughing, i am getting nervous about tomorrow and i know i should probably write somethings down that need addressing but i just can't think straight.
Mike phoned me to tell me how difficult this year has been for him , he says he has lost 1/2 a stone and is not sleeping or eating he says it is taking over his life, i just listened to him but was thinking yes this year has been great for us all....not

oj by the sounds of it you are probably the only one Mike feels he can open up to. The rest of his family is barking. So whilst it's tough for you to listen to his woes on top of your own troubles, I think it's kind of complimentary.

Mike was civil on the phone and ok knew he needed to let's stuff out so I just listened, he said it is too painful for him to watch Steve going throu this so he is thinking aboutvisting less. He also said that he feels in the middle and doesnt want to be a part of what's happening with family.
I know at the meeting today steves mum will make it all about her and how wronged she feels I will let her rant and rave and then tell her calmly that it should be all about Steve and how he feels and what he wants, I know her aim will be to make me look bad and to try to get everyone to agree with her I know she will get personal and I willjust stick to the facts.
she will either lose her temper or she will act reasonably and make it look like everything is rosy.

today has not started very well, bethan still poorly but crying and playing up about taking any medicine, elliot shouting at beth cos he doesn't like anyone crying i end up in tears cos it all seems too much this morning and i have to sort out someone to look after beth cos i have this meeting, i don't suppose the day is going to get better.

I don't do praying, but if caring thoughts count for anything, put me down for a bucket load. OJ there are so many people on here that think of you and wish you all the best. Is there anything practical that any of us mumsnetters can do to help?
