Takeaways?? How often?

I always class McDonald's kinda take away dufferent to say Chinese or Indian

But how many times a month would you say you have them? I'm wondering what the average is and if I have too many 😂😂

We probably get a takeaway every 8 weeks.

I have one maybe every 2-3 months. Basically whenever my parents come to visit as they prefer takeaway to my cooking!

Around once a week /once every 10 days so 3 or 4 times a month. Sure you'll get loads of responses on here saying they get one every 4 years though 🤣

For a while it was most weekend but the takeaway's here are rubbish and I was fed up not enjoying it and paying a fortune. So now maybe once every 3 months if that? Think we've had 2 this year.

Hardly ever as don’t really enjoy them but we eat out at restaurants at least 3-4 times a week so it’s no healthier!

Hardly ever. We had our first one of the year last week due to being stuck on the motorway and being too tired to bother to cook.

They are always expensive, calorific and -even worse-mildly disappointing tbh.

Maybe once a month/6 weeks. Would get more often but I'm coeliac and can't get anything delivered round here so it needs a car journey to pick it up.

We never get takeaways. It wouldn't cross our mind to consider getting one, but we do love going out and probably go out for a meal and drinks around 3 times a month.

Rarely, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. It used to be 2 or 3 times a week though!

We go through spells where we'll get one a week/10 days and then spells where it's less often. Occasionally more often if it's a bad week.

I hear a lot of "it's expensive and tastes rubbish" but we're lucky that we have access to some excellent take away options - award winning fish and chip shop, excellent Nepalese, great Chinese, fabulous Turkish food (that one is expensive as we can only get it via Uber Eats so it's £££ on top of the actual food!), even decent burger and kebabs.

During lockdown we had one most weeks for a change & because I was fed up of thinking about what 6 people could eat every day. Now it's mostly just one or two of us & I can't remember the last one I had. We eat out once or twice a month though.
