For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Where LittleRach?

Hello to everybody

FrannyandZooey · 06/12/2007 20:12

I can get the lasagne recipe, certainly, but I didn't make it it was from our fab gallery. I will ask them though as it is so very very nice.

FMF I had what you had, but without the mushrooms [blush again]. In my defence I was still mushroomed up from lunchtime.

OverRated · 06/12/2007 20:23

What can I do with Quinoa? What do you serve it with? I tried some yesterday and it was yummy but I don't feel very inspired.

Oh Franny sorry you're feeling yuck. I am having a feeling crap week too and it is so bloody inconvenient

Avi hooray for ds falling asleep by himself! Actually ds did it at the weekend when full of the cold, he was so bunged up he physically couldn't feed to sleep. I suppose that doesn't count really though.

I so want to take up everyone on their offers of having ds for a few hours...

I am waiting for a couple of satsumas to warm up before I eat them (they are just out of the fridge and practically frozen!)

FrannyandZooey · 07/12/2007 11:06

s'ok

ginger is my friend

OP posts:
Tatties · 07/12/2007 11:13

yes ginger is my friend too

littlerach · 07/12/2007 11:23

Yes, Rat Man has been twice. He is puzzled as there is no obvious place where they could get in.
Not as much scratching last night, or maybe I just couldn't hear over the banging of fences and falling over of wheelie bins and gale force winds.
I was quite suprised ot find anyhting left in the garden this morning!!

TooTicky the sale is at the Assmebly Rooms in your local town (not sure wheter you want me naming it!!). I am selling lots of dds' old clothes and toys. And trying not to buy anyhting!!!

Actually I feel calmer today. I htink yesterday and the day before were a little fraught for me. But anticipation is always worse then the actual event.

And i only have a few presents left to buy - hurrah! But I jhave NO idea what these present s will be!!!

DingDongMerriLullyOnHigh · 07/12/2007 13:29

sprouts with onion sauce....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

HowTheGibbonStoleChristmas · 07/12/2007 14:17

Lully - am in need of your help.

Still haven't used scary looking food processor.

Please tell me some (simple to start) delights to create with it so it loses it's intimidation factor

Did you get the mail btw?

FrayedKnot · 07/12/2007 15:10

I am eating a room temperature satsuma mmmm

Sprouts with cream is the only way to go I'm afriad. Last week's veg bix sprouts are still in the fridge, as I only managed to buy the cream today. New veg box coming imminently. Am worried it may have more sprouts

I am psyching myslef up for the tree deocrating shortly.

DS is somehwat overexcited.

FrayedKnot · 07/12/2007 15:11

Typing and satsumas don;t mix.

FrayedKnot · 07/12/2007 15:12

Tree desecrating? More likely, I think.
