For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Tatties · 19/11/2007 19:28

lol lionheart, the money was all fine. You really reminded me of someone too, I can't work it out.

I maintain that Franny and FMF have lovely skin

womblingalong · 19/11/2007 19:47

Zippi,

Well done on resisiting rnning away with my baby, altho husband wasn't an optin, because he stayed hidden in a corner wth Tatties and her family all night!

I felt a bit shy with you yesterday, not sure why, just felt v uninteresting and gauche.

fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 19:47

Zippi - you and me both!! I have a long list of children here I'm ready to adopt in a flash if any of you want some peace...

zippitippitoes · 19/11/2007 19:50

well I felt totally shy I don't think i can do groups..and then i trap an individual and bore their pants off

Tatties · 19/11/2007 19:52

Wombling you were lovely! I think your dh must have felt comfortable with my dp as they share the same name

zippitippitoes · 19/11/2007 19:52

the man with a gun in his pants has postponed me to weds..thinking this might be a prelude to being blown out

zippitippitoes · 19/11/2007 19:52

I totally agree Zippi is most elegant, that was my very word before anyone else posted it.

BBBee your children were impeccably behaved (I think I missed the chair banging bit) and looked like they had been trained in meaningful creative pursuits from a very early age.

I think the person who surprised me most was Wombling because she seems quite reserved on here but not so in real life

I was worried about teh money thing, I hope it all squared up as I left before the final reckoning and my mental arithmetic is not up to much.

Tatties · 19/11/2007 20:01

Everyone be reassured, the money was FINE, we were not short at all

Tatties · 19/11/2007 20:02

Ooh that's just reminded me, I said to TooT on the way back from lunch that we never did our line up in order of height

lionheart · 19/11/2007 20:08

We can do it at the picnic.

Zippi, maybe he is delaying for a reason and if not, it's his loss.

wombling, you were terrific and looked confident and everything.

(Franny, I have seen that thread of which you spoke on the question of computer games and bashing. DS has lovely timing, dontcha think?)

MrsCarrot · 19/11/2007 20:13

Thank you for stealing him, Zippi! I was incredible grateful to have someone else hold him for a bit after two hours of him fidgeting and yanking my top. I didn't feel entirely comfortable letting him crawl around on the floor but my standards slipped in the end.

Did Franny really eat EIGHT croissants? I can't believe it. She was thin and had the most enviable arms. I long for slender upper arms. Also, the accent was more of a lilt, a calm, comforting and reassuring lilt. Her ds was a scream. I asked him if he would buy more seeds with the lettuce prize and he frowned and said no, they would be too big - and they already had two sofas.

fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 20:16

Zippi, well, you didn't bore the pants off me.
Franny, I am sniggering at you calling me an extrovert
a) because I was crapping myself
b) because I think that might be a euphemism for loud and annoying...
c) I played with chldren because it is easier than having to cope with so many people all at once
I am actually feeling quite frustrated that I didn't get time to talk to people.
I may email you all with ''20 questions I wished I'd asked you at the meet-up but was too shy to''...

zippitippitoes · 19/11/2007 20:18

yes i noticed frannys arms too

didn't notice her accent tho lol

i had an idea i was going to show fmf the bead on my bracelte which is a gold sun and a silver moon but somehow i didn't

oh this is marvellous

I feel like we are all standing around stroking each other's hair

Avi I only ate 3.5 croissants

I think I must be craving carbs after last week's starvation, because I seem to have come back from London with 3 pieces of cake in my bag. Every shop or cafe we went into I apparently bought one and tucked it away. I think my body was surreptitiously was stockpiling in case of future famine

and my arms are manky, I want creamy round peachy arms

lionheart · 19/11/2007 20:36

If you'd eaten the other 4.5 you would have got your round, creamy, peachy arms. It works every time.

FrayedKnot · 19/11/2007 20:43

welcome psychobabble i have eaten a piece of cheddar today lol

lionheart · 19/11/2007 21:04

Hello, babble (don't like to call you Psycho).

FrannyandZooey · 19/11/2007 21:08

hello Psycho, welcome back, we are a bit giddy today but I am sure normal service will be resumed tomorrow. I am sure eating well and exercising can only help whatever ails you. I think exercise in particular can help with stress, and eating well can boost your mood IMO

I am mucking around with photos and you really are a very attractive bunch as I said at the time
