For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

IdrisTheDragon · 13/11/2007 21:17

Ha. I like that badge.

Tell me things Franny. How are you feeling? Is there a F&Z pregnant thread, should I go and read that?

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2007 21:38

it isn't very interesting

ahundredtimes · 13/11/2007 21:40

Anything.

FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2007 21:49

oh sorry 100, I was talking about slash with NQC

TooTicky · 13/11/2007 21:49

I arrive just as 100 has to leave. Typical.

fullmoonfiend · 13/11/2007 22:00

100 -my older ds too...

mine doesn't 'do' musicals but is very much an interior designer, drama queen and advises me on my clothes...

lionheart · 13/11/2007 22:02

Slash is very interesting.

TooTicky · 13/11/2007 22:03

And my ds1! Not so long ago he wanted to be an actor and clothes designer. Now he wants to be the world's youngest Elvis impersonator. We always ask his opinion on anything aesthetic. He needs to act but school Christmas plays are all singing in parts and no acting at all.

FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2007 22:03

don't talk about filth on the wholesome vegetable thread

actually NQC is being very odd

she says she can't fancy people in books, what is up with that?

lionheart · 13/11/2007 22:06

Well, who do you fancy in a book?

FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2007 22:14

oh anyone

don't you?

lionheart · 13/11/2007 22:16

No, I don't.

Tatties · 13/11/2007 22:16

Good evening

I am very tired, I must go to bed

FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2007 22:17

Good evening Tatties

lionheart why not?

Tatties · 13/11/2007 22:21

I am sure I have fancied people in books... can't quite think now though

FrannyandZooey · 13/11/2007 22:22

I'm going to bed. Let's all go to bed.

100 I hope you enjoyed your chips. Now come to bed.
