What the holy f*ck are these on my feet?

Obviously I’m going to the pharmacy tomorrow to show them photo - but I have two HOLES in my heel! Actual real life HOLES 😭. Also on both feet have 2/3 hard spots (like a verruca but not a verruca I don’t think?)

Heel has been really sore today (I’m 35 weeks pregnant so figured it was the extra weight, and I’m no pixie)

I take very good care of my feet - I scrape dry/dead skin, use heel repair cream and foot cream. Always wear decent shoes, cotton socks or sports socks.

I’ll put a pic as a comment in case nobody wants to see it - I’ve got the ick with myself right now so won’t inflict that on anyone else!

Has anyone had this before? Please please tell me I can get them treated 😭😭😭

The arrows are the holes - the circle the hard bit of skin

Look like veruccas maybe? Is is sore?

GalOopNorth · 09/03/2021 22:12

I think they are verrucas?

Loopyloututu2 · 09/03/2021 22:13

Don’t worry Op - it looks like you’ve had verrucas and they’ve fallen off. It looks exactly like ds’s foot when his large verruca finally fell off - it left a crater-like hole. Maybe you just haven’t noticed them?

Liquorishtoffee · 09/03/2021 22:13

spongebobscaredypants - you are horrid!

My heel was aching today, but not painful to touch or anything

chillied · 09/03/2021 22:13

verrucas?

bookwormish · 09/03/2021 22:14

Could be a kind of infection. Probably worth a call to the docs as you're pregnant....are you diabetic?

Chunkymenrock · 09/03/2021 22:14

Yes, verrucas.

@Loopyloututu2 oh gosh I hope so! I can deal with varrucas- no idea how I’d have not noticed them, I really suffered with cracked heels a few years ago, and have been religious with foot care ever since 😳

Oh dear! DS had some bloody awful ones for ages. We used everything on them and it was only when we - I can’t quite remember why - didn’t use the Agent Orange that we had ramped up to, they actually cleared up and went away.

TotsAndPears · 09/03/2021 22:15

Verrucas.

That's just what they look like sometimes, especially after a bath. Bazooka them and don't panic!

@bookwormish no not diabetic and GTT was clear - I’m going the pharmacy first thing tomorrow, if they’re not sure I’ll book straight in with the doctors - I’ve never seen anything like it before 😳😮

It could be pitted keratolysis but extremely mild case - don’t google pictures! This is a bacterial infection caused by hot sweaty feet.

It is cleared up by topical AB cream. I would call your doctor for a diagnosis though.

flappityflippers1 · 09/03/2021 22:18

Ok I’m calming down now - thanks all, my god my heart is hammering, I was thinking along the lines of something burrowing tbh (but I may be known to lean towards dramatics on occasion 🙈)

Megan2018 · 09/03/2021 22:19

It might be Pitted keratolysis, I think you can get that from extra pressure/weight in pregnancy

Megan2018 · 09/03/2021 22:20

Cross posted with @LeaveMyDamnJam!

I had it once, very mildly
