What the holy f*ck are these on my feet?

Obviously I’m going to the pharmacy tomorrow to show them photo - but I have two HOLES in my heel! Actual real life HOLES 😭. Also on both feet have 2/3 hard spots (like a verruca but not a verruca I don’t think?)

Heel has been really sore today (I’m 35 weeks pregnant so figured it was the extra weight, and I’m no pixie)

I take very good care of my feet - I scrape dry/dead skin, use heel repair cream and foot cream. Always wear decent shoes, cotton socks or sports socks.

I’ll put a pic as a comment in case nobody wants to see it - I’ve got the ick with myself right now so won’t inflict that on anyone else!

Has anyone had this before? Please please tell me I can get them treated 😭😭😭

verrucas almost Definitely. I have a massive one my foot and looks like that. Surprisingly I got it when pregnant and still can’t get rid xx

You laugh but I've had patients coming in thinking they have parasites because they have holes in their feet haha. Its a real fear. I'm sure there is a phobia about holes, cant remember the name though!

Trypophobia.

It's pretty common. If you want to know if you have it just look up pitted keratolysis and if you have it you will definitely know from that.

They're verrucas. When they're wet they go like massive moon craters, then when they're drier they flatten out a bit. Try not to let your feet get too sweaty if you can, wash them, bazuca and dry properly after a shower. Hot washing machine for the towels.
