For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Weeellll, I'm no gym expert but I have sneaking suspicion he might want you to do something gentle so he can test your recovery rate.

Do you like endorphins (she says optimistically)

I'm sure that the smarter than the average bear one was Yogi, and his sidekick was Boo Boo. I can't remember any of the other ones in top cat. Why am i actually sitting here frowning at the screen and trying to remember who Bobo was?

I'm having borlotti bean stew.. That is quite 10/10. More so than usual. It's got butternut squash, pepper, onion, carrot, beans, and that's about it.

gizmo · 09/11/2007 19:10

Now,I'm not ignoring all of you but I have a baby with a whiffy bum and quite a queue for the bath. So I'll have to see you later.

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2007 19:12

Oh gizmo you are kidding yes? I am a regular gym goer btw but have made apptment to ask about what I need to change now pg

Some panatone for pudding later and soem grapes.
How many is that then?
Pretty good going ofr me.

Boco, I think I read last month somewhere that you should try cold air, like opening a window, for croupy coughs. Both dds had it in september and it is awful.

We are off to the F&V market tomorrow for supplies as i oculdn't get there alst week.
Dh has a photography booking all day. Thsi si obviously good financially and for his reputation, but means we don't see him.

hello - oh hello

how is everyone?

franny - tell me about your food and if your tastes have changed and if you are eating more. It is still exciting or have we all finished witht he exciting?

I am so tired - the car insurance still isn't sorted out - mainly because I hate those sorty out type things so ignore them so nothing happens and I keep pretending it is because I have no time but I should have sorted it out by now.

I am so tired - I was in the co-op and some snowman kitchen towel made me cry.

I ate tuna pasta salad. There was beetroot and capers.

zippitippitoes · 09/11/2007 19:43

franny u kno you shouldn't talk to me like that..i get too rude

and i have just eaten a whole cailifloewer

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2007 19:45

Bee I haven't everyone else has

No changes yet, am feeling hungrier in a kind of slightly more pressing way, but not really needing to eat bigger portions

I had old pennies taste one day and thought oh NO but it passed

only thing that is different really is sore breasts and feeling knackereder in the evenings and having to go to bed early, at which point this lot all shuck off their shoes and start to party

OP posts:
BBBee · 09/11/2007 19:49

oh I remember the boob ache and I couldn't lie on my front. Do you have nice comfy tops?

Oh and the sleepin g- boy the sleeping.. I generally do not need much sleep and when I was pregnant I would fall asleep about 9 and sometimes have a sleep in the day!

Ginger tea is nice this time and year and feels all nice a healthy for your body.

Have you told your ds yet?

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2007 19:52

Nono we are not going to tell him until after I have had a scan (Christmas or new year)

hence elaborate ruses to stop anyone in RL from finding out because someone will let it slip otherwise

i must admit I am very anxious something is going to go wrong. I don't remember feeling like this with ds. Perhaps I did?

yes my first symptom was I kept waking up in the night going "ouch" every time I rolled onto my front. About 4 days before my period was due. Dp helpfully said it was probably breast cancer

Hi BBB. I had a bcaon sandwich last night. We'll always be excited about Franny's baby

Hi everyone. I worked today and dd went to my friend's house whose ds is 14 months. They had a lovely time and she didn't miss me at all!

Cod I'm not veggie either. Me and 100x eat big steaks and BBB says I eat bacon sandwiches all the time but I don't

Boco sorry to hear about dd, as everyone says vent away on here and if we can do anything to help you out then just yell! I heart Lull, she says lovely things and eats lovely things too

Happy Birthday MrsC

Please could anyone who can easily get hold of crying chocolate please bring me a square to the meet up. I am intriuged but I don't know where to get it except for off t'internet and I'd end up paying more for the postage cos I only want a bite to taste it and see if I cry!

Have to go, my friend is here to pick up my old fridge freezer for her new house!

zippitippitoes · 09/11/2007 19:56

zippitippitoes · 09/11/2007 19:57

BBBee · 09/11/2007 20:04

PSW - I bet you secreetly want to call it the 'meat up' - I too have had problems locating the crying chocolate - maybe they are taking the piss out of us and it isn't real. Please if it is someoen bring it or me and PSW will storm out of meet and track some down in london town whilst cramming bacon sandwiches.
