For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Franny, if your baby is 5 days early it can share a birthday with my DH.

Or one day early and be born on my friend's birthday.

Or on its due date and be born on her DS's 1st birthday.

TooTicky · 06/11/2007 19:09

Ds2 now has his St John Ambulance Badgers uniform. I shall have to to post a photo later. He looks adorable. He is adorable [proud mummy]

FrannyandZooey · 06/11/2007 19:24

So the consensus is that I should have this baby early, is that right? Suits me. Ds was 10 days late and they made such a fuss about it

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 06/11/2007 19:25

the ds2s are coming up trumps

I like "absolute geeeenius" and I want to see the Badgers uniform (does it have a tail? whiskers?)

dp has just gone out to guitar class and I am eating Ben and Jerry's under the duvet. I bought myself a swanky pair of pyjamas (I know buying new things is not v 10 / 10 but my old ones were in holes, honestly). I can't find on the website but they are kind of a pyjama version of this. The top has plunging neckline so am wearing cardi on top well it's cold

Ooh Franny that is lovely

I love pyjamas, I have a bit of an obsession about them, I can't get enough

TooTicky · 06/11/2007 19:33

My fuddled brain read that as Tom and Jerrys. I pictured you eating small cats and mice. I think I need an early night.

Sorry, no tail or whiskers

FrayedKnot · 06/11/2007 19:40

God the things you can get away with when pregnant

I am thinking mostly about waist size, and how it the bigger it is, the better

I have just looked at my diary and have started

this thread

I am very anxious about it and when I'm anxious, I stop thinking. So if anyone feels they have something to contribute, I would really be grateful.

pinkspottywellies · 06/11/2007 19:42

Wow, this thread's been busy today! Hello everyone, welcome Hunker (scrummy boys btw).

I swam today, we were in the pool for half an hour but I made sure I swam properly for about 15mins (pushing dd in front in an inflatable seat) Come on everyone, not just f&v boasts - what about your exercise

Breakfast 4 portions, lunch, salad 1 portion, dried apricots 1, carrots, broccoli and sweet potato (that doesn't count though does it?) 2, with mushroom quiche, 1/2. Will have fruit tonight to make 10.

Glad the doc's was uneventful Franny. What's next? When do you see the midwife?

I love hearing about everyone's dcs (kidney beans, geeeenius, badgers, just being a four year old) I think dd will be hilarious when she's older, well I think she already is!

pinkspottywellies · 06/11/2007 19:44

Pom was well, interesting. How sweet is it meant to be? Maybe it wasn't right. But we all ate it and declared it 'interesting.' Actually ds1 said it was 'lovely' but he's in a good mood re unexpected sporting success.

I left all the windows open upstairs. It is freeeeezing up there. I am making hot water bottles, they are complaining strenuously. I don't put the heating on until Feb if I can help it. DH and I disagree over such things though.

TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsBoecoe · 06/11/2007 20:15

Hello. I don't understand what's going on here. What's the thing with Franny's hormones? What's she doing? I do like Kevin Spacey, but just as friends, and also know stories about Robert Lindsay - wonder if same as 100s.

I'm in disguise

You know yesterday i posted about my sister, and then my step-sister phoned 5 minutes later and said 'i just read what you wrote on mn and want the details' and i said 'ok' and then later thought bloody hell, i thought only the veggers could see that or would want to, oh dear i'm a fool with a big gob and i MUST stop it.

Oh the good news is that dp, having spent £35 on file recovery software, and £65 on an external hard drive thingy, spent all last night sighing and tutting - realised this evening that he hadn't deleted all our pictures, just misplaced them. So, they're all there, we just have useless software we don't need and no money. Ha. Poor dp is losing the plot a bit atm. See i'm doing it again fgs, i'm a compulsive sharer.

FrannyandZooey · 06/11/2007 20:17

Oh god, I mean that's wonderful about the photos but OH GOD. Can you sell the software? eBay? and OH GOD about your sister - Boco's sister, you should not be reading Boco's private stuff on here unless she said you could

and WHAT about Robert Lindsay? Will someone please email me if it is unrepeatable?

FrannyandZooey · 06/11/2007 20:18

I'm not doing anything wrong at all, btw

they started it, they were talking filth about Kevin Spacey and I was just standing there appalled

TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsBoecoe · 06/11/2007 20:20

You know who i love, actually i don't know his name, but i watched Charlotte Gray the other night, and the man who played the french lover, Julian or whatever, when he wore his round glasses especially, with his lovely cheekbones and dark hair and passionate resistance stance

lullabyloo · 06/11/2007 20:20

Oh lordy lordy lordy...

but hurray for the pics anyway

FrannyandZooey · 06/11/2007 20:22

this is turning into a kind of lesbian dorm scene isn't it

oh god did I say that out loud? It was meant to stay in my head

hmmmmmmmmm....not sure who you mean

The only young actor I like is that chappie who used to play Dirty Den's son on the dreaded Eastenders......

TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsBoecoe · 06/11/2007 20:23

Do you think i look like a dwarf dipped in pubic hair in this outfit?

lullabyloo · 06/11/2007 20:24
