For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

We went to a party. It was very serious with games and tokens and a Room of Hell, which was a dark broom cupboard where you had to sit on a chair and feel things in baked beans. Then we had a dress the zombie mummy game with loo roll. It was fun.

She is properly good at parties this women. She looked upset that I hadn't dressed up, and I didn't quite know what to say to her.

Bocoreepy · 31/10/2007 21:34

Where there children there, or just you and other grown ups?

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 21:34

Franny - does your funny tasting mouth taste of teaspoons? Mine did when I was pregnant. Old teaspoons.

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 21:38

Oh no, was for children. I think she was just very into her party.

I am meant to be going to a halloween party on Saturday though. But my babysitter is refusing to take my calls. I might send dh on his own. I'd like to do that.

I'm pleased everyone is better Boco. When he gets to the top of the climbing wall does he punch his fist in the air? Have you ever asked him?

Bocoreepy · 31/10/2007 21:43

I'll ask him. He might fall off if he did that though. That'd be a shame, having made it all the way to the top.

You're all into your games and parties and wigs in Bath, it sounds like non stop party central. And in between there are cocktails.

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 21:49

Oh yes. Is the city of parties and spas and evenings at the assembly rooms, parading about in muslin making wicked and witty conversation and then fast midnight rides in carriages, holding hands and fiddling with lockets and things.

I'm meant to go as a sexy witch on Saturday. I don't want to. I am too old, I will just look witchy and sad.

Bocoreepy · 31/10/2007 21:53

Is that the brief? Sexy witch. Do you have your outfit ready? What makes it sexy?

TooTicky · 31/10/2007 21:55

100x, life is too short for parties you don't want to go to. Make something up. Make anything up. Tell them you have a completye stranger coming round to feel your bathroom floor or something.

TooTicky · 31/10/2007 21:56

I am eating something odd but nice.

FieryGlassSlipper · 31/10/2007 21:56

100 - dont go if you dont want to. Send DH on his own

lionheart · 31/10/2007 21:57

< waits to hear the answer to the sexy witch question >

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 22:02

Yes, that's what it said on the invitation Sexy Witches and Something Warlocks. I can't remember what the warlock thing was.

I don't know what makes it sexy. Short black skirts and cleavage and red lipstick and suggestive broom stick? God knows. I think you can be a sexy witch if you're 28 and have glassy skin and good legs, I have neither of those things.

I shall go as an Old Crone.

TooTicky · 31/10/2007 22:02

It sounds dreadful 100x.

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 22:06

Yes doesn't it? BUT in case you think I have a million friends as opposed to 10, it is the squash court people. And they are nice and funky and have a built in glitter ball in the converted squash court, and rather an amazing outside bit with huge sheets of glass and open air windows. DS2 says there house is like Ruby Redfort's, and it is.

So they will be sexy because they ARE, but I am not. And I shall sulk and not be cool or sexy or anything.

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 22:06

He says THEIR house is like Ruby Redfort's house.

Gah.

TooTicky · 31/10/2007 22:09

Could you get away with a really genuine sort of excuse?

lionheart · 31/10/2007 22:10

You have 10 friends.

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 22:11

Do other people come on this thread and just talk about themselves? Or do you actually talk about each other and devote posts to it?

I'm going to try.

I am very worried about MrsC's tits. This isn't good at all. What are you going to do? I got mastitis three times with dd. it was awful. I am sympathising, I also sort of need you to put down the needle because that's just not nice.

There. That seemed to go alright.

TooTicky · 31/10/2007 22:12

Yes, the needle sounded v. worrying.

TooTicky · 31/10/2007 22:13

I feel as if I always talk about myself and don't keep up with other people very well.

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 22:13

It's not very many is it lionheart? I have friends elsewhere. In fact most of my proper friends are in London. And ten here. I also have acquaintances.

I like acquaintances. They are very low-maintenance I find.

lionheart · 31/10/2007 22:14

I have mislaid all of mine over the years.

ahundredtimes · 31/10/2007 22:15

You have mislaid your friends? Where?

lionheart · 31/10/2007 22:15

Just by moving around a lot.

TooTicky · 31/10/2007 22:16

I have very few friends. I don't seem to be good at friends. But this thread is lovely.
