For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Dried sultanas, cranberries, dried apple rings, grapes, carrot, cabbage & cucumber in a salad, celeriac and squash soup, pasta with tomato and rocket sauce. Will have fruit later.

I love Venice, 100, especially at this time of year when the air is really crisp and you can go and drink proper hot chocolate in cafes as it gets dark and all teh lights twinkle over the lagoon...

You will have such a fab time

It sounds wonderful, I wish I was going. Have a fabulous time, 100!

Ds and I are watching Big with Tom Hanks. It's fun getting out all the eighties stuff. He loved Ferris Bueller, Short Circuit and Flight of the Navigator.

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 21:23

yy! I had a big swoop last night and attempted all my (I think) 11 games (I ended up with 11 on the go that night I asked for 'a couple' of opponents, and the invites kept piling up in my inbox in a Magician's Apprentice style way)

oh god now must go and tackle them all again tonight I suppose

TooT you have forsaken our game it seems? I don't mind, just wondered if you had forgotten?

Right. Cheerio (again). Thank you for all your good wishes. I loved FK's description of how it will be. I told dh that about the lagoon and the hot chocolate and he grinned. We are all soooo excited.

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 21:33

It's all right 100, I couldn't keep my nose out I'm afraid. It all worked out ok I think.

has taken you years to pluck up the courage to say you were going to have salad things at lunchtime? what were you worried might happen?

I am drinking tea from TooT's lovely mug. It is so cold here.

I have made lunch for NQC and boys tomorrow. I have done pesto rice, potato salad, baby spinach salad, felafels and pittas. Does that sound ok? is it odd serving cold things in this weather? we hardly ever have a hot meal at lunchtime, well except for beans on toast I don't want to be mucking around in the kitchen while they are here, so I have just got it all in the fridge.
