For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Is dd's birthday on Saturday. She wants a pinata cake again.

It is a bugger to make. I kept cracking the chocolate shell and had to melt little patches all over it and stick smarties on in strange erupting tufts.

TooTicky · 28/10/2007 23:17

A pinata cake? How?

Heathcliffscathy · 28/10/2007 23:18

just popped in to say your thread names are getting more and more excellent, i sing it every time i see this.

TooTicky · 28/10/2007 23:25

All credit to Frayed Knot for this one.

MrScarRot · 28/10/2007 23:27

wait till we have 'pumpkin up the jam' then, that will stay with you all week! We are having that aren't we?

Toot - you make a bowl shaped cake and cut a bit out, line with butter icing, or whatever, fill with chocolate coins, or whatever, and then - now this is the trick bit, you line a bowl with a thin layer of chocolate and some how by rubbing something warm on the other side it slips out in a perfect dome.

This is then the shell to be placed over the treasure stuffed caked and dotted with smarties, or whatever.

This, ime, always cracks.

MrScarRot · 28/10/2007 23:29

which is why the smarties, or whatever, go up in little peaks and troughs.

Bocoreepy · 28/10/2007 23:30

My vote's for pumpkin up the jam too.

It's funny this meeting in real life isn't it - and then here you are! I had a lovely time, thank you. DD1 said that your dd was the nicest person she's ever met, despite the fact that i'm not sure she spoke. But she observed. And dd2 said she'd like to see Alan again one day.

TooTicky · 28/10/2007 23:35

That sounds extremely clever and nervewracking MrsC.
Making the cake, that is, not meeting Boco
How was \Boco? Did she incite you to badness and accuse you of smut?
