Steve has got much worse since yesterday morning. he was sick six times and he is the same today, he has a lot of swelling around his head and eye
i phoned the docs and got thou to NHS direct.
they asked if steve would go into hospital, had to say no as he wants to stay at home.
just need to get the swelling, pain & sickness sorted out.
the doctor will be here within an hour

Hoping you are all okay.

How is it that people are sending you things, LL are they doing it thru you???

onlyjoking9329 · 27/10/2007 11:08

steve is ok today still has some pain but not been sick

what is it with autism & thomas my DS was a huge thomas fan. my kids school go to a funfair at ashby every year, they have a morning just for children and adults with additional needs the queue for the thomas ride is always by far the longest

i don't know how lapin got my address she hasn't let on...yet!

Morning O.J!!!

How are the 'goodies' going? Anything left

My DS loved Thomas too,but I have to say I am not a fan I find the books so boring to read and if it's on telly...well Ringo Starr is not the most 'happy' of people!!!!!

What are your plans for today then? Can you guys do alot when Steve is feeling o.k?

Oh you do know that I now refer to you over in the Sanctuary as Hokey Cokey, don't you? All that in out,in out!!!!

onlyjoking9329 · 27/10/2007 16:24

most goodies have been eaten now
i hate TT{F)TE too, his voice is so droney sends me to sleep.
weekends are a juggling act of keeping kids happy and quiet whilst steve sleeps. today i took the kids to choose their rewards for completing 4 weeks on there star charts.
elliot chose a Wii game. abbey chose a DS game and bethan chose a ben ten watch. so they are all happy

cookiesandscream · 27/10/2007 22:37

glad your kids are happy with their prizes {grin}
my DS is too young for thomas just yet.
so if i want to send you a parcel i just contact little lapin, i will sort something out then, as i think you deserve some nice things, you spend so much time taking care of those around you i bet you forget to look after yourself.

TotalChaos · 27/10/2007 22:44

for some reason DS likes the books and trains, just not the actually telly program (he is faithful to Dora the Frigging Explorer instead ). Glad Steve's been feeling better this week, and that you have sorted out the battle of the sickness meds.

triplets · 27/10/2007 23:49

Am I missing something here, what is a ben ten watch???

TrickORTripletEm · 28/10/2007 08:18

O.J. I whimped out last night!! Have you seen what the girls have done to my beautiful sanctuary?!!!
Just popped over after seeing your posts. How is Steve this morning? Things were going so well on the sickness front weren't they. Did you both manage to get any sleep last night? Fingers crossed, things have calmed down a bit this morning. Let us know when you have five mins. Thinking of you all.x.

cookiesandscream · 28/10/2007 14:46

TrickORTripletEm · 28/10/2007 20:31

I'm bumping you!! Hold tight!!

VooJu · 28/10/2007 20:35

Thinking of you and Steve.

munchkinmum · 28/10/2007 21:06

Hi OJ

Just checking in as I do now and then. Sorry Steve has been feeling rough lately. Feel bloody furious over the ondansetron issue - my mum last year was having chemo for cancer and was given ondansetron as much as she needed it. Seems so unfair that you have to battle for it at this difficult time.

Anyway, rant over, just wanted to say keep smiling and love to your family. Thinking of you all often even though I don't know you at all! The beauty of mumsnet eh?

Much love

Munch

phew been a difficult 24 hours, steve feeling very sick and been sick a few times, i have upped his anti sickness meds so he is much better in that respect. he has more swelling so have upped the steriods which has eventually helped, his legs are not working too well but not sure if that is the MS or the brain tumour

TrickORTripletEm · 28/10/2007 22:24
