For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

lionheart · 13/09/2007 22:58

Hello, Papillon.

Do not stand too close to Seasick Steve, Franny, because there's a reason he's got that name.

Frannyisgoingonholiday · 13/09/2007 22:59

eek

I know I started it but we mustn't mention that

lionheart · 13/09/2007 22:59

Omg I would have been more supprtive if I'd known it involved camping.

Frannyisgoingonholiday · 13/09/2007 23:05

Tell you all about washing my hair? I know I do witter on in a rather self-absorbed way but I don't recall ever stooping to posting an in depth report of my hygiene routine

hmm has definite potential though

Frannyisgoingonholiday · 13/09/2007 23:06

Paps I am always completely stone cold sober and straight in this chapter of my life

how on earth I am ever going to get to sleep in a tent without the use of cider and spliff I have no clue

IdrisTheDragon · 13/09/2007 23:06

I am going to bed. I think. It is either that or fall asleep on the chair, which wouldn't be as comfortable.

Have a lovely time at the festival Franny .

Frannyisgoingonholiday · 13/09/2007 23:11

Thank you Idris

I haven't replied to your email because I have been pissing about on here when i was meant to be packing, it isn't because I have written one and it hasn't got there

sorry

Carotte · 13/09/2007 23:13

Carotte · 13/09/2007 23:15

Urrgh, Valerian. Someone was getting that in front of me today in Neal's Yard and the smell made me feel sick. I had to sit on the weird massage display chair to avoid passing out.

Carotte · 13/09/2007 23:16

medised

Carotte · 13/09/2007 23:17

Frannybirdinyurhair- have a fab peacefilled loofah free noodley musical time.

I am off to bed with block breast that is improving.

TooTicky · 13/09/2007 23:21

Glad it's improving Carrotte (it feels strangely informal not to be calling you Mrs )

TooTicky · 13/09/2007 23:24

Have fun Franny
If you veer northwards by mistake you can pop in and say hello. Oh, but warn me first. Judging by the spotless surrounds in your photos, you probably wouldn't cope with knee deep chaos.

BBBee · 13/09/2007 23:58

(TT - oh how I love you for your knee deep chaos)

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 08:07

Morning all! You were up late! I didn't get on last night because I went out again!! 3 times in a week - plus a wedding plus a evening work meeting! Crazy!

Haven't had time to catch up properly but hope all are well.

Carrotte (that feels terribly impertinent!) Hope you're feeling better by the day. I've never had mastitis but I had a blockage once or twice that was enough to make me weep so I really feel for you.

TooT I hope the HE is going well.

100 hasn't really gone has she? DON'T GOOOOOOOOOOOO! COME BAAAAAAAACK!

Franny did you get applegate sorted out? Hope you're feeling ok about the nursery. Have a great holiday.

Zippi, Hope the holiday's been fabulous.

DD and I are going to Storytime this morning at the library. Sounds very nice, will let you know.

Frannyisgoingonholiday · 14/09/2007 08:09

Frannyisgoingonholiday · 14/09/2007 08:09

will report more with the benefit of hindsight

pinkspottywellies · 14/09/2007 08:10
