For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Franny 100said happy Birthday to Boco, so, I assume it is Boco's Birthday, lol!
The cart is reasonable well built...of course you get what you pay for, but the frame is sturdy, and the wooden bits are good too, and the tyres nice and thick...it's amde in a way that it cna be easily put togetehr and taken apart...so, it's transportable in a car....but of course, that tends to mean that it looses some of the sturdyness achieved by it being glued together, etc....but so far we are happy

Speedy, sounds you are doing very well on teh F&V front

3andnomore · 11/09/2007 15:18

oops...we blame 100 then ;)

will congratulate you tomorrow again then..sorry

3andnomore · 11/09/2007 15:19

Oh and Boco...Birthdays just aren't teh same when you grow up, arent' they....

Lullabyloo · 11/09/2007 17:01

......popping in briefly to say hello chaps...my grandparents are staying until thursday & dont really get this mn malarky so am having to force myslf to stay clear of the computer
We had pear, peach, goat's yoghurt & mint smoothie, lychees & raspberries & banana bread packed full of brazil nuts, dates & raisins for breakfast.
I made quinoa pilaf for lunch..with cumin, coriander, ginger, cinnamon, spring onions, raisins & pine nuts with avocado, tomato, beetroot, cucumber, celery, little gem salad with basil dressing.
Ds had another lovely morning at nursery,he was just sooooooo excited it was lovely.

Lullabyloo · 11/09/2007 17:03

BBBee · 11/09/2007 17:36

hello

have been in hiding trying to get some work done.

100 god that teacher sounds like a right twat - I find the magic word 'discrimination' usually worries them but you did great. What a tosspot!

LL - lovely to see you as ever. Will stop saying how envious we all are of your food as it is getting repetative but - oh!

Bock-oh - oh poor DD. I remember something like this at school too and I remember one day I went off and made up a game called 'hollow log' with another girl who was on the outskirts of the group. Soon everyoone wanted to play. I think the loud girls tend to dominate - my DD had trouble to begin with and spent a lot of time on her own and then some of the other quieter ones came to her attnetion and now she doens't bother with the noisy ones who are all shoes and longest hair. She talks about them with disdain.

oh everyone else blah''d blah - I missed you. Have skimmed the thread - MrsCarota - it is like Corrolla the fizzy drink someone mentioned. Be MrsC then we can fill it in ourselves...

...oh the 'c' thing - I went to bed and then I remembered a thing where MrsC had said she didn;t like swearing on thread titles and I got all panicky as I had (if you read it wrong) called her something awful. I love MrsC - and I would never think that about her.

Our cat is having his ginger bollocks chopped off on thrusday and DS was very angry and upset until I explained about feline aids.

Am still really pissed off about your DS 100 - where does he go to school? IN the past or something?

Oh and I liked the 'if shouting at him worked..' line too - that was very good.

Have been reading academic papaers all day and brain all sluggy - hence the ramble.

Let's all change our names to C**ting somehting and post all over mumsnet.

CuntingFranny · 11/09/2007 17:46

TooTicky · 11/09/2007 18:01

Oh SK, sorry about your kitten!

3, that cart looks marvellous

LL, your food is a treat just to read about

Right, dd1 off to St. John Ambulance cadets and ds1 and ds2 to Badgers. I think I may take dd2 swimming.

Boco · 11/09/2007 18:29

Was that the thread where everyone said that the ejaculating ladies where actually peeing, and i made this gag about people not knowing if they were cumming or going, which i thought was actually very funny. But there was tumbleweed.

Filthymindedvixen · 11/09/2007 18:30

I don't think I can have a name with cunting in..people already think I'm a slapper. They don't read my name properly and realise I am merely filthy minded.

Filthymindedvixen · 11/09/2007 18:32

Boco - perhaps you should change your name to MrPooter

I's have laughed though. I adore crap puns. And er good puns.

FrannyandZooey · 11/09/2007 18:35

I heart Mr Pooter. Not in the same way I love Owen Wilson, obviously.

I was trying to be all dignified and believable and I posted as CuntingFranny. Oh great

Boco · 11/09/2007 18:41
