Is there any damn reason why my norks have been sore balloons for a week now, given the extreme unlikeliness that I am up the duff? Am I just heading for menopause?

And if Batters's book isn't appropriate then my book on Embracing your inner Crone should fit the bill. Between us we've got it covered

THEY HAVE SUBSIDED.

My friggin' period isn't even DUE yet, that was the real PITA of the melons. (And that means there isn't - or rather wouldn't have been - any point in testing either.)

Glad things are looking better. I have had this for the last few months and convinced myself it could only be pregnancy. I have had a couple of bizarre periods too. HAve gone through several pregnancy tests. Worrying now as I was a very late starter with periods (15 and a half) and reading that 'the later you start, the earlier you get menopause' thing has worried me somewhat.

Is this the over-40s hormones having parties thread?

I'm not pg and my boobs are miniture, but still my hormones have started to party and my periods have become more horrible since the birth of 2nd baby more than a year ago.

I'm now 41.

hi

i am 37 just had my merina coil removed this week after 5 months of suffering, i missed 2 periods prior to having it fitted and when i go to docs and mention they big m word ( menopause ) they just laugh because of my age, if there anyone else out there of my age and having menopausal symptons, doctors only know what they read in their text books, i think we all know our own body's better then anyone. thanks
