For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Boco · 09/08/2007 21:25

BBB you're not remotely fat. You must have that body dysmorphia thingy.

Zippi where did that come from, what are you clarifying? I'm perplexed by your breasts.

zippitippitoes · 09/08/2007 21:34

f and z saying "I know you are all weirdy extended breastfeeders "

...I thought I should answer back

BBBee · 09/08/2007 21:44

I can't be an exteneded bfeeder as dd is now 5. I did feed for ages when I had the chance.

are you only allowed on the meet up if you are lactating?

Boco · 09/08/2007 21:48

Obviously. There will be an initial squeeze of all breasts on arrival and any non-milkers will have to leave.

pinkspottywellies · 09/08/2007 21:48

DD is 9 months - on some threads that would be considered wierdy extended and others a newbie! Do I qualify?!

3andnomore · 09/08/2007 21:48

hope not BBBee...as my longest I ever bf'ed was to 13 month (I wanted to much longer, would be happy to feed ys still now...and he will be 3 on Sunday.....yikes.....) and am not lactating no more

But,this makes a change.......no fighting dispite the mention of bf....wow....

3andnomore · 09/08/2007 21:49

wot breast....dare you to find them in my case....rofl...they have gone so far south...and well, there wasn't ever that much to start off with....sigh...

MrsCarrot · 09/08/2007 21:53

Rofl at initial squeeze test!!

I made the banana cake, double measures, and we ate it all for pudding, I am afraid to say it was with a little maple syrup Yum

pinkspottywellies · 09/08/2007 21:54

What do you think about trying the banana cake with walnuts? I did half apricots and half raisins in mine too.
