For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

oh huff! I said that one last time no-one commented...

BBBee · 10/08/2007 19:20

we tend to ignore your comments as they are riddled with filth.

TooTicky · 10/08/2007 19:33

BBBee, dd1's bat detector is a Magenta Mark II B My mum very kindly bought it for her last birthday. It is fabulous and we are lucky that we have bats flying around the cottages in the summer.

Have made veg stew and dumplings. Am waiting for it to cool. Also have very banana-ey cake in the oven - ds2 accidentally dropped the (5 v. large) bananas and they became strangely squishy.

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2007 20:32

Oh FMF! Was it your suggestion last time? I knew I had liked it before and meant to use it. Sorry if I didn't say so at the time When I heard it again I presumed it was BBB who had said it the first time - but a case of great minds think alike I guess

I went to the gym & swim last night. Very good. How did you go Franny?

How does Facebook email all these people without your permission?

FMV I definitely remember your title suggestion and I think it is a very good one but can't remember if I commented at the time... I did mean to say I do like this weeks title

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2007 21:09

This week's was mine but I must own up to having seen it on an obese gentleman's t-shirt first . Me and dp thought it very amusing so I thought it was worth repeating.

Tatties I found I was still pretty sore when I got there, from Tuesday's long session. I wasn't feeling stiff during the day but when I tried to use the weights I was suffering. I am just about to go up a level on almost all of the equipment, ie need to change to a heavier weight any day now, but it seems to be causing me a bit of mental defeatism as I am already finding the level I am on quite challenging. Does that make sense?

I just pottered about on the bike instead of trying to do interval training and enjoyed it much more. I am a lazy sod you know.

Okay erm. . .

The Pear Years: The 10/10 Diaries.

(am reading alistair campbell's)

Is that good? Oh god isn't it awful when you say I'll do that, I'll do that, and everyone looks at you and says go on then, and then because you're basically a show off rather than actually funny, you fluster about a bit and grin sheepishly. This is basically what is happening right now.

LOL.

Oh god, I'm going to have to go away and actually think about this aren't I?

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2007 21:16

we will have FMF's / BBB's this week as it is very good indeed

everyone else can have a week to think of something

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 10/08/2007 21:17

Which one was that then? Apples and Pears?

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2007 21:17

(I am not sure if you ARE a show off, but if you are you are certainly a funny one)

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2007 21:18

yy

"Up the Apples and Pears"

a pleasing double meaning and a nod to NQC whose absence we are mourning

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 10/08/2007 21:18

It was excellent.

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2007 21:19

Now, let's talk about my emails from Greeny

Dammit

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 10/08/2007 21:23

Oh go on then.

Did the email arrive in your inbox Franny? Or, or has the mystery deepened. Has it in fact NOT arrived?

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2007 21:28

Well it's funny you should ask, 100, because tonight, at about 6.20 pm, or possibly a few minutes later, ALL THREE OF THEM turned up in my inbox

now what do you make of THAT?

What is 'extended' bf exactly? Is it like past a year or two or three? I'd like to know this, my SIL is still going, I'd like know if she is 'extending' or not.

Franny will tell you that when I ask these questions, I then do a lot of bowing, so nobody takes offence. See like that?

Franny. It's a miracle. I am so happy but most SO RELIEVED that these emails have finally arrived.

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2007 21:34

Ask to look at your SIL's breasts. You'll easily see if they are extended or not.
