CC great effort this weekend, keep watching your counter as it seems to be helping.
MM don't accept that you are crap, that's too easy.
Your dh is a non-smoker so where are they coming from ??? THINK hard about where your weaknesses are and try to out-smart them, if you don't they'll bite you when you're feeling down.
FG, you're resuming tomorrow ?, forget that your dp 'knew' you'd smoke on your birthday, you did, deal with it.
I thought of all of you today as I did a tough (for me) race, I struggled, the wind was awful & I wanted to go home but at the really hard bits kept telling myself 'you will not give up trying to do this, you will finish' which is a mantra used by Winston Churchill among others (allegedly !)
I took 3 minutes off my previous best time for the distance and feel really chuffed now but I could so, so easily have thought 'bollocks I'm going home now' after 5 miles - but I could never have faced my family & friends knowing I'd wimped out.
Beginning of a new week, good luck, but more than that THINK about how to avoid your 'problem' times.
You'll be pleased to know I'm off to bed
