OMG - what about that thing with your scratched eye? What was that down there about a damaged cornea? Perhaps it's that?

NorbertStanleyFletcher · 10/07/2007 22:55

hello icod, think it would be a good idea for you to see an optician if this is still bothering you. If it is an allergy most of the drops you have been suggested will have preservative in them which loads of people are allergic to so you get stuck in a vicious circle. is the eye itself red or just watery, how painful is it, do you see as well with the left eye now its bothering you? You should have an eye test at least every 2 years so it won't do you any harm to go and if the optician can't sort it they will be able to get you referred to someone who can. also if you normally wear contact lenses you should stop while the eye is sore. i could go on but it would probably be easier for you to go to the optician! hope it gets better soon

did it clear up on holiday?

BeetrootHeidi · 11/07/2007 08:21

Cod. I get this.

I use vaseline around the eye.

Do you find that when you wear make up the eye wee ps and themake up smears?

It is not (imo) related to the make up but themakep up caking becasue of weeping makes tha eye sorer iykwim.

I put vaseline on in morning before make up and at night.

Never found a reason tbh -

suntan cream makes it very very bad but I stil get it in winter

I think it is becasue I am tired that it happens first and then it won't stop

BeetrootHeidi · 11/07/2007 08:23

Projectilespells · 11/07/2007 08:23

bet it's your washing powder.

BeetrootHeidi · 11/07/2007 08:24

but then weep all day and so making make up a problem (although this does not stop me wearing) but have to check it more as weeping makes it horrid

i think mine starts when I get reall really tired and then won't stop - until winter wqhen it gets a bit better (it hink)

Projectilespells · 11/07/2007 08:26

fairy non-bio pretty strong scented. Get soap flakes. And do extra rinses.

Gwan. You have nothing to loose but freaky eye thing.

That was a yes to clearing up on holiday wasn't it? Despite sun cream make up etc.
