Hello, I was looking for different opinions regarding vaccinations. Who vaccinated and why and who doesn't vaccinate and why?

I've read previous posts similar and then have gotten quite heated so I ask for your stance on vaccinations and the reason why (and possibly links and research to accompany this) and that's it. Once you have commented please don't question anyone's opinions or anyone's choices. I don't want this thread to turn into a pro vaxx/anti vaxx argument.

TIA
Xx

There's a fair amount of evidence that the rubella immunisation does wear off, but only after 20+ years.

That's why the vaccination was given at age 11ish, when typical childbearing was in the twenties.

Once you are no longer intending to have children, then catching rubella isn't likely to be an issue so it doesn't really matter if it has worn off. It does circulate from time to time, and a child catching it is unlikely to be seriously ill. If however they pass it on to a pregnant woman who is not immune, then the consequences can be catastrophic.
