I'm sorry for asking this question. I just wondered.
Have recently seen a few clips from tv show 'Naked Attraction'.
I know its not everyone's cup of tea. Quite contentious.

Not of much interest to me either really.
But I was quite fascinated by all the girls. Young, pretty, lovely.

But they all had very very neat labia. none hanging down.
AND they all had no pubic hair at all. Not even a French with a small strip of pubic hair.
All completely hair free.

So, is very neat? AND no pubic hair, completely the norm, these days?

Will our teenage boys, encounter this, as the norm?

I attach a picture, of which I just googled, just to show how neat and tight and firm all the labia on the show looked. Hope its not offensive.

To be honest I thought the one on the right has rather long outer labia, and the inner labia are still a bit long. I've never seen anything like that the photo on the left! I wouldn't class any of those photos as hairless either, i would remove my pubes long before they got to that length.

Yeah, "neat" and hairless is the current vogue. The pressure to live up to societal norms of beauty gets ever more intimate for us women - it's depressing. I used to be a lap dancer (fully nude) and you could see the trend coming in. FWIW the only girl as "neat" as picture two that I ever met had had a labioplasty. Although none were as extreme as the picture on the right.

Actually looking again at the pics there were a few like the right pic. The girl with the labioplasty you could barely see the inner lips if I remember rightly.

All the labia look a bit 'clunky' . The outer ones look thick and the inner ones look as if they are pushing them apart.

Inevitably we've had a few reports about this thread, so we're just popping on here to confirm that the OP is a long-term poster and that we believe this is a genuine ask.

We agree, the photo in the opening post is a bit in-your-face (well, actually, it's more in-your-pants) but heck, we're all grown ups here - and the OP did put a warning in the title.

The one on the left isn't normal. I looked like that and had surgery to sort it out as it was taking over my life - very painful. Gynaecology professor , GP and community midwife confirmed I was at the extreme end of problems. They told me it was called elongation/hypertrophy and can be a birth deformity of sorts. Yes, some variation is normal but that certainly isn't.

As some of the comments on here demonstrate, women can be disgustingly bitchy about other women in respect of this area, so I'd say it's more likely that the only women comfortable enough going on the show were those with the perfect pretty little pink neat labia which are now seen as the only "normal".

I must admit my surgery results were better than that though, I had as much excess/damaged tissue removed as possible (2 hour op, 25 stitches) so all inside now. I think it helped that I was seen by a gynae team and not a cosmetic surgery clinic - would always trust the former more, although they admitted freely it's still a pretty rare op to be done on the NHS.

My pants don't bulge*. Very few of us walk around in just our knickers anyway. They also don't crunch^. It's soft hair, not cornflakes.

Well this thread is an education. I have to say, personally, that hairless fannies are far uglier than I thought they'd be! I also can't imagine how much hair you'd need to have bulging, crunchy knickers...

I haven't come across a soft pube yet, they are normally coarse and lack softness as most people don't condition them. Either way, I don't like the way they feel in my pants, the last time I grew a bush back I found it very uncomfortable!

I don't know what's more disturbing- that photo or OP's, fondness, for sprinkling, around, commas.

Both don't look normal to me. but then again haven't seen very many.
