Peter has had to go back to harefield, much to his disappointment. his pain is unbearable again. this isnt right. he is meant to keep exercising so build up strength, but he is in so much pain he barely steps out of the house these days. i dont know the last time he came out with us, except for docs/hospital appointments

dejags · 27/03/2007 14:05

I often wonder how Peter is doing. Sorry to hear that it's crap at the moment for him.

Poor man has been to hell and back (not to mention you ). I hope that they can get his pain under control in hospital and that he manages to get some pain free rest.

How are you doing Misdee?

PrettyCandles · 27/03/2007 14:05

How very rough for you all. Hope they can do something to ease it and enable him to get going again.

Oh the poor man. Keeping everything crossed for him and all your family misdee

misdee · 27/03/2007 14:14

he really isnt happy. we are doing a 'he who shouts loudest' thing atm with the hospital and calling al lthe time to keep him in their thoughts that he has been on the list for over 2 years. I am beginning to think that bringing him home wasnt a good idea, because when he was in hospital, as well as having syupport 24/7 he was in their thoughts, they couldnt fob him off if he asked for help.

the last few weeks his LVAD has been running faster than normal. he called up about it and was told 'its not alarming, so we'll see you in 3 weeks'.

Shout and scream if necessary Misdee - whatever it takes to get yourselves heard. Have they given you any idea of how long he will be there?

misdee · 27/03/2007 14:17

no idea yet. he might get discharged today. i want him home but also want them to uderstand why we are not happy atm.
