i have been putting this off for years, bad i know. they ust need an echo and ecg to check for any possible signs of DCM, chances are they are completely clear.

I know how you feel...dreading the worst. Before dd's hospital appointments I used to feel sick with nerves, then afterwards I'd wonder what I was so worried about.

I'm sure it will be good news - do you get the results there and then?

Definitely good wishes and positive vibes fairytale...and I'll send them all over again tomorrow morning.

no idea what will be done tomorrow, no doubt will be going over dh history again, they may not go any further with it. but i want soem tests done. echos are usually given results there and then, dd2 had one done when she was 18months due to a murmur. dd3 had fetal cardiac scans, so my consultant during pregnancy thought it was worth investigating. feel sick thinking about it.

Is this the test you have been asking for for a long time? if so, I'm glad to see they finally agreed to test them and hope that tomorrow you could get that worry out of your mind.

yes, the ones we have been waiting for ages for. yet i stil lwant to avoid it as much as possible and bury me head in the sand.

it will be better to know, with early intervention, if the slin chance they do have DCM, prognosis is a lot better now than even when dh was dx.

hope everything goes ok misdee. my ds has got to have an echo done so wouldnt mind knowing what happens if thats ok. hope its all good news for you

i can tell you about echos now, they are quite fascinating really. its a scan of the heart, they will check for leakages, measure the heartm check flows (in red and blue this [part) and all the rest.

They will be fine and you are doing the best thing for them, lots of good vibes coming to Chez Misdee from Casa Carmenere
