Good luck tomorrow misdee it is so hard I know I left it 11 years! The relief was enormous but as you know these scans are repeated through their teens and twenties but I'm hoping that the 1st time was the worst. It must be so hard having three of them you deserve a medal.xx

MerryPiffmas · 11/12/2006 21:46

Good luck, the not knowing is awful.
Take care

peter is coming with us. i guess the way to make an impact with how much this has affected our lives is to let them see. IIRC its the paed team from harefield we will be seeing. it was when lauren was last seen.

Thinking of you today, hoping it is going well

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 12/12/2006 12:04

we are back. they are all free of DCM phew, BUT

dd2 has a murmur (knew that anyway)

dd1 also had a murmur (didnt know that), and a leaky mitral valve. so she will require more appointments in 4 years. hopefully it wont affect her at all.

OP posts:
GlennCloseAsCruellaDeVille · 12/12/2006 12:05

good news..it was worth the agony of going then

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 12/12/2006 12:11

The murmurs can grow out of can't they?

As they and their hearts get bigger

Is that correct?

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 12/12/2006 12:13

yes, its jus the sound of the blood flowing through. the leak was a bit of a shock though, dd1 was done last so by then was feeling confident nothign would show, but i saw the back flow of blood through the valve so knew soemthing was up.

but its not a biggie, so not worried.

OP posts:
RTKangaSANTAMummy · 12/12/2006 12:21

So could DD1 grow and the leak repair/close up by itself as well in 4 years time?
