Hi folks. I got a message from WB last night to say that her DD is in hospital in the High Dependancy Unit with pneumonia.

I have heard from her again this morning, and I am reassured to hear she has been taken out of the HDU and is in a room on her own, although still on a drip and on oxygen.

She wanted to thank Greeny and Hunker for their messages.

Im sure you all want to join me in wishing WB's DD a speedy recovery.

Please keep it bumped if you see this.

Thanks.

No, I know. I have felt shut out by you, but understand that these things happen, friendships change, and I can respect that, however I'm not prepared to have more abuse when I am posting with good intentions.

WelshBoris · 02/12/2006 09:04

I've only told QV what happened because I texted on the morning after the Meet-up, she was the only person I knew in London so its not a case of shutting you out.

Maybe I should just post what happened, stop everyone thinking I was in the wrong

FrannyandZooey · 02/12/2006 09:06

I'm off now anyway but will think lots of good thoughts for Madison

It isn't a question of people thinking you are in the wrong Boris

take care of yourself and try not to stew on it

MerryChristmasfromQV · 02/12/2006 09:07

You still not had an email?

WelshBoris · 02/12/2006 09:44

Nope, no apology and she has my email address and mobile number.

I'm really grateful for everyones kind words and support Ive recieved since DD has been in hospial, and the information and advice since I found out about the sweat test. Almost restored my faith in MN

ComeOyefaithfulVeneer · 02/12/2006 09:45

MerryChristmasfromQV · 02/12/2006 09:52

Boris, we love you. MN is fab.

Did you see that Mars came and babysat for me last night

AND she didnt even steal my scarf even after I offered it to her

She was flaunting her ill-gotten gains from the meet though......

might have gone into her junk mail and now gone? try forwarding it and see what happens?

WelshBoris · 02/12/2006 09:57

It's OK, I did get it. But you have a similar name to morningpaper, so I thought it was from her.
I have lots of emails I need to reply to, when I get 5 minutes I will sit down and do it.

MerryChristmasfromQV · 02/12/2006 09:59

I'm not sitting down, I'm standing up, making toast for DD, wrapping presents, answering the phone and texting, drinking a cup of tea and Ebaying

Thank you very much QV you tart. Bet marslady didnt know what hit her with DS!!

ComeOyefaithfulVeneer · 02/12/2006 10:04

WOW true multi tasking. I am impressed. I am most definately sitting on my arse, (dh asleep, ds and dd spent night at MIL and I have a stonking cold and feel pants).

JoolsToo · 02/12/2006 10:04

Hi Welshy!

Didn't know about the CF thing. Can I just say that when dgs1 had pneumonia he also had these tests for CF and whilst I don't know the ins and outs of your dd's condition I think it may just be procedure? I hope so anyway.

Keep smiling!

JTx

zippitippitoes · 02/12/2006 10:05

blimey..you are wicked at multi tasking

MerryChristmasfromQV · 02/12/2006 10:05

Wow - you really are a multi-tasker.....

I think, from what Mars told me, it was more a case of DS didnt know what hit him

Apparently he cried out, and she stuck her head around the door and said "its okay baby" or something and he froze, glared at her and shut up

WelshBoris · 02/12/2006 10:07

Just emailled you JT.

I think it is just to rule out CF, she has had so many chest infections the doctors are running out of ideas!! No-one has ever smoked near her, we have no pets, so not quite sure what else is triggering them.

MerryChristmasfromQV · 02/12/2006 10:10

allergies....hmmm - do you think they could do that whilst she has the CF test? Ring on monday and find out?
