Throat not too bad today,so you are over 32 then!

Thought you may have thought i was youngster with dp just finishing university and the Doc Martens, 32 was a long time ago for me

imaginaryfriend · 19/09/2006 14:21

and yourself?

OP posts:
imaginaryfriend · 19/09/2006 14:22

Oh yes, well over 32! I always assume everybody is younger than me. I'm ancient. But not quite as ancient as you!

OP posts:
imaginaryfriend · 19/09/2006 14:23

The 'and yourself' post was meant as 'and what brings you here at this time of day'?

OP posts:
notasheep · 19/09/2006 14:25

dp thinks i am soooooooooo obsessed with age but then he is younger than me( i know, toy boy and all that but its only 5 years)

notasheep · 19/09/2006 14:26

This is my time of day,ds having afternoon nap before school run or rather walk to get dd

imaginaryfriend · 19/09/2006 14:30

Afternoon naps ... Sigh ... I remember that hour or so of pure peace. How old are your kids notasheep? Dd's 4 in 3 weeks and only just gave up her daytime sleep.

OP posts:
imaginaryfriend · 19/09/2006 14:32

Ok, my stolen moment is done. Now to the library! What a thrilling life I lead ...

OP posts:
notasheep · 19/09/2006 14:33

dd is 6yrs,ds will be 2 on Sept 30th- i cant wait to celebrate his birthday fagless
and of course you will be too.

My dd didnt give up her nap till she went to school!

notasheep · 19/09/2006 22:24

it passed and i am still Nic o less

charliecat · 20/09/2006 09:31

Put your knickers back on woman So where was everyone last night, I was watching that programme on manic depression with stephen fry...

imaginaryfriend · 20/09/2006 10:51

I was watching that too, cc. Plus dp had taken over the computer for the evening ... sigh ...

OP posts:
notasheep · 20/09/2006 12:45

I was here alone, couldnt watch manic depression programme, have a cousin who is VERY seriously ill with it-in psychiatric hospital permanently with it,bet they didnt show any one like her.

imaginaryfriend · 20/09/2006 13:20

I was thinking that, notasheep, that they didn't show any 'ordinary' people whose lives are totally disabled by being bipolar. Only obviously high-functioning people. There was this vibe running through that no matter what the people on there would 'rather' be bipolar than not. Only one woman who used to be a lawyer and now can't even leave the house seemed to be ill in the way I would imagine normal, non-celebrity types are.

OP posts:
notasheep · 20/09/2006 13:25

So it was another one of those woe is me,celebrity things then.I have been getting quite uptight reading about it on Telly Addicts thread, showing the not so glamorous sufferers wouldnt be good telly.

ds on nap again, also babysitting girlfriends dd(1yr) while she is at dentist.
2 babes asleep but if im off here then sorry if i dont have time to be polite.

Rage with dp this morning, wanted a fag,but knew it was dp getting up my nose,so still fag free and fine.
You OK?

imaginaryfriend · 20/09/2006 13:42

Yes, ok here. VERY broke, a horrible time of the month where every penny counts and I long for payday ...

I, every now and then, get a sudden almost overwhelming urge for a fag. Quite unexpected moments like on the bike today.

The programme was very uninformative really. My father suffered badly with depression all his life and was on heavy medication. I don't know if he was bipolar or not, not diagnosed as such, and he did manage to keep a very good job and be extremely likeable and popular. For us at home though it was really hard to live with. Not glamorous in any way.

Gotta go now. Dd needs attention. Big time.

OP posts:
charliecat · 20/09/2006 16:00

Haveing never known anyone with bipolar it was quite informative, but having a brother with scizophrenia means that I know the way they gloss over things and these manic episodes, if they are anything ike my brothers paranoid episodes are hell for the person and all around to deal with.
Fagless for another day Woohoo everyone
Where SEA off to now?

charliecat · 20/09/2006 16:02

I too am skint...selling on ebay to get some pennys together as usual

imaginaryfriend · 20/09/2006 20:54

Yes, I was wondering about SEA. and custy ... haven't had one of her brief progress reports for a while. Wasn't the last one at her 3-week weak spot?

Oh cc, you're such a money-spinner! I'm counting the days until payday. Really truly.

OP posts:
notasheep · 20/09/2006 21:26

And Pann?!

Charlie, you may have a buyer here-need school trousers for dd.

imaginaryfriend · 20/09/2006 21:37

I couldn't open your ebay link, cc. I've got real problems with the myebay page in general on my home computer. Still, it stops me bidding when I've got no dosh!

OP posts:
