Glad you had a good day Really, I can tell it means a lot to you to keep everything as 'normal' as possible. It sounds like your chemo experience might be a bit like mine - one week of being unwell and then two weeks of being back to normal(ish).
Techno - I hope you feel better know that you have a plan of action. I was diagnosed in October and have already had two chemo rounds under my belt. I will have eight in total, followed by surgery and rads. I still have times when I get hysterical about the whole situation, but the ladies here keep me sane. Hope all goes with telling your boss tomorrow.
Knitting - I might be wrong, but I though everyone under going chemo was entitled to a voucher from the NHS to put towards a wig. I am sure this was mentioned to me, but I didn't find out about it because my medical insurance was going to cover the cost.
FooFoo - Hope you manage to get some sleep and feel a bit better in the morning.
Marshy - I think a cuddle with a kitten will be just what the doctor ordered to lift you sprits whenever you are feeling a bit low. Good luck with toilet training, which reminds me I must start doing this with my toddler.
Thank you ALL for the wig advice, it has helped me enormously. I have found one I liked by Rene of Paris. It is in a style that I used to have and I spoke to a really helpful customer advisor who helped me with colour. I have also found someone who specialises in wig cutting, so I just need to wait for the delivery! I have also had a really lovely day catching up over lunch with a friend and then howling with laughter at the bush tucker trial. I feel Matthew Wright is going to score quite highly on the annoying meter - think he would make for a good tumour name!
