LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance
I guess I start..
My cervix is on the outside, it can't all hang where it should and no manner of pelvic floor exercises or devises will get it back there.
I'm 41, one fab dd and wanted more but there you are, can't now can I?

This thread, hopefully, will be for those waiting, recovering or supporting

Thanks - rather nervous and my DM has turned up for the duration - which is fab but at the same time a living nightmare because frankly today i am not good company.

Having to force myself to be civil….

shewhowines · 26/11/2013 10:43

I think she'll understand why "you're not the best company" Smile

Try not to worry too much. It should all go smoothly and even factoring in infections, it'll be worth for the peace of mind in the end.

I've only just cottoned on to the fact that, my potential huge swollen legs, will also be extremely painful. Not feeling very happy about it at the moment. It sounds as if it's more a question of if, rather than when thanks dr google

shewhowines · 26/11/2013 10:46

I mean when, rather than if !

Oddsocksrus · 26/11/2013 12:32

king it will be fine, I've had the best care, everything has been explained and it is a totally new experience to have a grown woman cheer when I fart lol
Pm me if you've and questions.
Deep breaths, practice for tomorrow

Waitingaround · 26/11/2013 13:53

Good luck for tomorrow king it will be worth it. I can honestly say, infections aside, I've never felt better Smile

Cremolafoam · 26/11/2013 14:59

King - it will be fine. Whatever happens with your mum, don't let her tell you about her own hysterectomy because she will tell you it was a breeze . You will fit your own timetable and everyone is different.
Wishing you much luck for tomorrow .

I have turned a corner. My wound is resealed( manuka honey ladies- make a note)
Nurse doesn't need to see me and I am done with the antibiotics . I have driven twice and feel 1000% better than I did last week. Still tired so interspersing activity with rest.Smile

Oddsocksrus · 26/11/2013 16:05

crem that is fantastic news, I am so pleased you are feeling better.
I seem to be down for going home tomorrow which will be nice, the lactulose has worked ??

OP posts:
Waitingaround · 26/11/2013 16:50

she step away from google! No good will come of it... Try not to worry about what might happen and concentrate on the positives instead (are there any?) you could be one of the lucky ones.

Waitingaround · 26/11/2013 16:51

crem so pleased you are now on the mend Smile I also feel so much better this week and now feel as if I am finally healing and recovering..

King the waiting is awful - the worst bit - but it'll soon be over.

Waves and best wishes to Fled.

Well, ladies, I'm back to work tomorrow fully fit at 7 weeks post op. For me, the best thing was to get properly sorted enough to feel I don't need a phased return.

Wish me luck. I'll keep you posted (can MN in work).

That's a disappointment Sad but at least you have nice food and luxuriously appointed accommodation. Hope you can feel an immediate improvement in comfortability, now your bits aren't all hanging out. If that's not a word, by the way, then it should be Grin

Welcome itwasnt how have the last couple of weeks gone? Have you had any complications? Are you getting lots of support?

Oddsocksrus · 27/11/2013 16:17

Hallo itwasnt I did type out a welcome but in my dopey state I guess I forgot to post it!
Hope you are being good and resting?
There is a daily statutory nag/reminder to rest and to do less than you think you should on this thread :)

I hope king is ok and is tucked up all cosy and morphined up

Mine was all trans vag, everything is repaired and strung back where it should be :)
No leaks :)
No hanging out bits :)
