I guess I start..
My cervix is on the outside, it can't all hang where it should and no manner of pelvic floor exercises or devises will get it back there.
I'm 41, one fab dd and wanted more but there you are, can't now can I?

Thanks - rather nervous and my DM has turned up for the duration - which is fab but at the same time a living nightmare because frankly today i am not good company.

Try not to worry too much. It should all go smoothly and even factoring in infections, it'll be worth for the peace of mind in the end.

I've only just cottoned on to the fact that, my potential huge swollen legs, will also be extremely painful. Not feeling very happy about it at the moment. It sounds as if it's more a question of if, rather than when thanks dr google

Good luck for tomorrow king it will be worth it. I can honestly say,infections aside, I've never felt better

King - it will be fine. Whatever happens with your mum, don't let her tell you about her own hysterectomy because she will tell you it was a breeze . You will fit your own timetable and everyone is different.

I have turned a corner. My wound is resealed( manuka honey ladies- make a note)
Nurse doesn't need to see me and I am done with the antibiotics . I have driven twice and feel 1000% better than I did last week. Still tired so interspersing activity with rest.

I seem to be down for going home tomorrow which will be nice, the lactulose has worked ??

she step away from google! No good will come of it... Try not to worry about what might happen and concentrate on the positives instead (are there any?) you could be one of the lucky ones.

Well, ladies, I'm back to work tomorrow fully fit at 7 weeks post op. For me, the best thing was to get properly sorted enough to feel I don't need a phased return.

Wish me luck. I'll keep you posted (can MN in work).

I'm not skipping by any means but on 1 tramadol and two paracetamol and whilst it feels like a bad period pain not really more than that. I have got up and walked to the bathroom this morning and am contemplating a shower.

Great news odds It's much better on the sofa at home.
Did you have an abdominal? I can't remember, but if you did, your recovery seems to be really quick. We need some good stories after all the infection nasties.

Can I join??? Had a abdominal hysterectomy on 8/11. Still lots of L sided abdo pain but getting better every day.

That's a disappointment but at least you have nice food and luxuriously appointed accommodation. Hope you can feel an immediate improvement in comfortability, now your bits aren't all hanging out. If that's not a word, by the way, then it should be
