My cervix is on the outside, it can't all hang where it should and no manner of pelvic floor exercises or devises will get it back there.

Did the op go well? It sounded as if you were having a lot of complicated stuff done.

Waitingaround · 25/11/2013 17:46

Helloooo oddsocks glad your already sitting up and wanting a sandwich, that's great!!

TiredDog · 25/11/2013 19:05

Well hello oddsocks! That grin makes me wonder what you're on Grin

Spud. 11 so pretty able to manage everything. I do also have help but am not sure how it will all pan out.

Fled that all sounds unpleasant. I don't know the back story so maybe am missing some crucial point here but does your husband need rest? Is there a reason he can't manage without you.

fledtoscotland · 25/11/2013 19:46

Oddsocks - glad ur sitting up feeling like food.

Tired - DH has mental health problems (if you do a search you will see threads from his prev hospital admissions) but this is to do with him being male and that I normally run the house with him leaving for work at 7.30am so in his mind time off work = lazy mornings. He never normally deals with DC & breakfast. Peace has broken out and he took me to Macdonalds for lunch (who said romance is dead!)

thekingfisher · 25/11/2013 20:06

Glad to hear it went well and you are looking forward to sandwich

xxx

TiredDog · 25/11/2013 20:10

I guess you spend a fair bit of your life accommodating his health then fled. It's perhaps time to say just for a short time…it's me!

How long are you in for Oddsocks?

shewhowines · 25/11/2013 20:46

Bloody hell, can't believe you're posting already. I was out of it for ages.

Hope the sandwich was yummy. Have a good night sleep. Flowers

Cremolafoam · 25/11/2013 21:07

Yo odds you are amazing! Hope you have cowped now and enjoying some zzzzzs . Lucky you able to eat some if that non nhs food too. I puked my way all the way into day 2. Get your money's worth Grin !!!

spudmama · 25/11/2013 21:45

Fled do you still need dh at home? Could he sort the children out and then go on to work. I didn't want mine at home just incase i ended up slipping into usual habits i.e making him lunch as well.

Odds glad to see you are eating already good sign.

Tired 11 is a very managable age but help is also good even for the first week at home.

shewhowines · 25/11/2013 22:29

Fled thinks she may have been outed. She's going to keep watching this thread but not post for a while. Sad She says she'll keep in touch with us.

TiredDog · 25/11/2013 22:53

I'm so try to hear that. What a horrible feeling. I am a regular name changer. That way I feel I can stop people trawling previous posts, become less identifiable and thus more free to post openly. I am fairly paranoid about it.

shewhowines · 25/11/2013 22:57

Once you've name changed, can you ever go back to your original name? Or can you alternate 2 different names between different threads?

TiredDog · 25/11/2013 23:04

Yes. All of that.

I have had names for certain events. Say for instance I had a legal issue, I name change because it's too likely friends might recognise me. That way they won't see more of the personal stuff I post. I'm already planning my post hyster name change since I feel this identifies me (because there aren't 400 women having hysterectomies this month or anything).

Told you I was paranoid.

I go back to old threads with the name I used in that thread. It's not sock puppeting as far as I am concerned because I never post two names in the same thread

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 25/11/2013 23:10

Yes you can flick back and forth between nicknames. I have used different names for 1 off threads when I didn't want to be identified but that's because I post lots of personal stuff under this nickname but I don't care who knows me IRL. Anything I wouldn't want people who know me IRL to read, I namechange for.

Hope you're sleeping soundly Oddsocks

elfycat · 25/11/2013 23:31

Glad to hear you're OK and I hope they give you enough pain to keep you in a fluffy place and a good night's sleep.

I'll come on to get another update soon. Best wishes from the elfykittens too.

shewhowines · 25/11/2013 23:46

Elfycat is not fled. Do you know odds elfy?

Cremolafoam · 25/11/2013 23:52

Poor fled. Honestly as if she hasn't got enough on her plate.

shewhowines · 26/11/2013 00:07

If you keep your profile private, can people see your posting history any way?

shewhowines · 26/11/2013 05:18

Duh, don't bother answering that!

Oddsocksrus · 26/11/2013 05:57

I spent time on as stroke ward a few years ago. It was like Bedlam. Screaming and crying all night A good nights sleep did not exist! I hope you manage to rest this morning

elfycat · 26/11/2013 08:02

Sorry to de-lurk. I saw the thread day 1 and thought it a good place for Oddsocks to go Grin then realised it was her.

I didn't want to bother MrOddsocks for an update but knew she'd MN if given half a chance!

Back to lurk, but I'm a benign lurker.

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 26/11/2013 08:09

Oddsocks if you're still there tonight, maybe Mr Oddsocks could bring you some wax ear plugs. They do the job Smile

Hope you're feeling good this morning.

shewhowines · 26/11/2013 09:42
