My cervix is on the outside, it can't all hang where it should and no manner of pelvic floor exercises or devises will get it back there.

Cremolafoam · 06/11/2013 16:06

Hi
Clinging on to the edge here. Swelling started to subside a bit. Zeppelin tummy feeling going.
Slept ok but definitely feverish but that seems to have broken today too.
Tentatively is say I was a bit betterSmile

shewhowines · 06/11/2013 17:44

Hold on to that edge. At least you are going in vaguely the right direction.

fled hope you had a good day out today at the art exhibition. All the best for tomorrow. I will be thinking about you. Be brave. You will get through this Thanks . This time tomorrow, you will be on the mend and it will only get better.

Waitingaround · 06/11/2013 19:03

I'm not there yet, but the bleeding has lessened so hopefully the antibiotics will work soon- still feel as though my body should perform better, it's seriously let me down Wink
Good luck for tomorrow Fled, it will be over in a flash and your wonder what you worried about.

spudmama · 06/11/2013 19:22

Cremolafoam · 07/11/2013 11:13

Hope poor puss is better tooSad

Waitingaround · 07/11/2013 11:15

Thanks overcome, how long is it after your op? Think cooking does take it out of you because of lifting the pans etc, that's the excuse I'm using Smile in order to avoid it.
How's everyone else doing? And I must say this thread is great so Thanks to all.

fledtoscotland · 07/11/2013 12:28

Operation cock-up literally. Case notes lost. Back tomorrow morning for open surgery as can't so laparoscopic without notes. Enjoying egg sandwich and cuppa and repeat whole process tomorrow

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 07/11/2013 12:49

Oh Fled that's horrible. I hope it hasn't knocked your confidence too much. Sad

Waitingaround · 07/11/2013 12:51

That's awful Fled, you should put in a complaint. What terrible service, someone should be looking v v hard for your notes!
Feel for you
Xx

spudmama · 07/11/2013 12:58

Oh no fled thats not good does that mean they are going in the old fashioned way? Thats how mine was done, but don't worry just need to take it a bit easier to begin with and remember to take all the drugs the offer Grin. Hope you get some sleep tonight.
Hi waiting i have been doing some cooking but getting hubby to lift/drain heavy pans and get things in and out of the oven, with a 7yr and 1yr old i feel i need to do something as gets has to do all the nappys i had my op just over 2 weeks ago.
Enjoying my sofa day, may start a christmas list and see what i need to do and buy, i at least need to keep my brain occupied.
Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Cremolafoam · 07/11/2013 13:34

what the actual fuck Fled?
am Angry on your behalf

Oddsocksrus · 07/11/2013 16:08

Fled how fucking stupid are they! Are they offering hope that if the notes are found you will revert to laparoscopic surgery? I sincerely hope so!

So very Angry on your behalf

I get to do all my consultation, booking in, scans, blood and wee tests again on monday as the private lot have no faith in any information being transferred in time from the nhs team. (The hospitals are about 2 miles apart and as a mere patient i can't be trusted to take them with me)
Though you could be cynical like my dh and believe that it is a ploy to make a little more money Hmm

OP posts:
shewhowines · 07/11/2013 16:27

Can't believe that fled Was thinking of you all this morning. Did you manage to get any sleep whatsoever last night? Now you've got to go through all that worry again and it should be over.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Thanks

Hope your cat is ok now.

fledtoscotland · 07/11/2013 17:24

Cat has bruised spine. Better today but wobbly. Will make a good recovery.

I'm drained/pissed off/emotional. Had to get general manager of hospital involved before they would sort it out. Were just going to send me home with another date sent out. Pointed out I've got 2 DC and DH has taken 4 wks off so not an option when they could fit me in fri or Monday.

Manager agreed so spent afternoon having pre-assessment redone and back in for 11 tomorrow to be first on afternoon list. Will put a complaint in as they knew notes have been missing since Monday. If the do appear overnight it will be a laparoscopic operation but otherwise open.

Does anyone know if you can get 3 cuts in the same place (prev gyn and c section) or will this one be a vertical incision?

shewhowines · 07/11/2013 19:31

Hope they are looking bloody hard for the notes. All the best for tomorrow. I'd have been devastated in your position, as I'm sure you are. I'll be thinking of you again.

fledtoscotland · 08/11/2013 07:33

Will update you all later but getting ready for attempt #2
