Elderflower and rose presse ?

Want to go and sun myself a bit in the back garden .
What's common etiquette on wearing just pants out there ?
Bearing in mind - I'm 40 + , fat , and the one boob I have left is covered in scars ???
Grin

Gigondas · 17/07/2013 13:15

Go for it- have posted a nice link on going naturist topsy on FB Grin.

Lily does sound like you are doing your bit on illness. But chocolate tiffin sounds yum .

Watching why I fired them to get in the mood for apprentice- there were some numpties on this programme.

EarthMotherImNot · 17/07/2013 14:07

Hi and hopefully not goodbye friends. My Mac nurse has visited today and it would seem I'm becoming quite confused in everyday life ie waking up not sure where I am etc.

The next step it appears is transferring to methadone but that needs transferring from all other drugs before changing to methadone which can only be done in their hospice. Yet again, I'm very afraid but I cannot continue like this, I hope I'll be back soon. luvs to all xxx

malteserzz · 17/07/2013 14:13

Much love to you Emin, hope you are back with us very soon xxx

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/07/2013 14:16

smee · 17/07/2013 14:27

That sounds a bit scary, Earth. Gentle hugs from me. Hope it all goes smoothly and we'll see you back soon. xx

BetsyBoop · 17/07/2013 14:34

oh EMIN, much love and lots of gentle hugs. Thinking about you and hoping to see you back here very soon. :)

Lonecatwithkitten · 17/07/2013 14:43

Malt my beautiful friend had the cold cap for set of chemo two though she called it the FFC (f***g freezing cap) it did save her hair so really worth investigating, I do remember it had to be special fitted. She also used to drink of Frapuccino whilst she had the chemo too.

Gigondas · 17/07/2013 15:10

Emin that must be scary but sounds like mac nurse has a good plan so you don't have to carry on like this. Much love and look forward to hearing from you soon xx.

topsyturner · 17/07/2013 15:24

Emin another one here hoping it all goes smoothly and that you'll be back here with us soon .
Much love xxx

Copthallresident · 17/07/2013 15:27

EMIN Thinking of you. Lots of gentle hugs and hoping to see you back soon xxooxx

Lily Glad DS has been diagnosed, the big danger is when they don't catch it in time. There were always people in Hong Kong who picked it up on their travels and even there doctors would misdiagnose, there was a doctor in my GP practise who was a specialist who everyone got sent to, which was always reassuring. Where is your son? If he is in the rainforest I expect they are used to treating it. But your family do seem to be having a rough patch Sad

Lonecat I was really pleased to see your post and that you and Dd can move on without the constant threat of OW. I have a mental image of bleach blonde cougar type with boobs falling out of leopardskin driving a BMW coupe which she falls out of regularly after too much grey goose. I do like a good stereotype Grin

Topsy Go for it and post pictures on Fbook Grin I wonder what those men in North Africa do when someone posts a topless picture but there are no boobs........ I might try it and find out, I have probably shown off my scar to pretty much all of my Fbook friends on one drunken night or another, except come to think of it, my Father, perhaps not......

So tonight it is the Slut versus Barbie. I am going to see the Summer Exhibition and the champagne will be good anaesthetic to watch it later as I will be cross whoever wins. Already quite upset that Luisa clearly appeared at after party of Rebecca's Your Fired to gloat. What a terrible image they project for women in business. We should get Suralun to run a Tamoxigang Apprentice, we would be nice to each other, have brilliant business ideas and the cleavages would certainly be interesting!

KurriKurri · 17/07/2013 15:55

Dearest EMIN, - thinking of you, and all my love, Kate xxxx

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/07/2013 17:07

very kind neighbour left a huge revolving fan on my doorstep so am very chilled here...how really lovely people are.
Can I offer watermelon ?

OP posts:
malteserzz · 17/07/2013 17:15

That's lovely Mas always nice to hear how lovely people are
I'm also looking forward to the apprentice tonight :)

topsyturner · 17/07/2013 17:26

Mas what a lovely neighbour !

I too am on Apprentice Watch tonight
Shall most likely be cringing at them both though !
I don't think there's ever been a series where I would be happy to see both of the finalists thrown out Grin

Lonecatwithkitten · 17/07/2013 17:37

Copt.you must have second sight. She is dyed blond, falls out of clothes a lot (ex air hostess if that helps). ExH changed his car to a convertible BMW not long after he left, oh and when she's had too much booze she falls over. So yes the stereotype applies!
Apprentice tonight and then big ortho surgery to get my teeth into tomorrow - the drill is out.

Gigondas · 17/07/2013 17:42

Lol at ow falling out.

You know apprentice is at 8 not 9?

Our heating Is on ConfusedHmmShock- no wonder its so hot. Dh off to see why it's on.

Lilymaid · 17/07/2013 17:57

Copt - DS1 is a development economist and is working in Papua New Guinea so is visiting places only accessible by air strip (or by river). There ae plenty of Aussie doctors out there as well as local doctors, so plenty of people well versed in tropical medicine.
He's on a 2 year fellowship out there but I shall be surprised if he will then want to come back to the UK and take up his job offer in the government economic service (and flat share in Finsbury Park or Brixton). I don't think Zone 2 has the same attractions as his current apartment overlooking the Coral Sea!

smee · 17/07/2013 18:45

Blimey Lily, Malaria?! Shock Though am guessing he's incredibly fit and healthy, so he should be able to get clear with no long term worries. Must have been a shock to hear though. What an exciting job. Smile

MrGigs - TURN THE HEATING OFF. Grin

Lovely about fan, MAS. We have one on full blast here. DS calls it 'my fan'. Hmm

Waving enthusiastically to Kurri. Hope all is sunnier. Smile

Not bothering with Apprentice, as have missed 90% of it this time. Might watch that 'Top of the Lake' drama on catch up. Did anybody see it??

topsyturner · 17/07/2013 19:04

I watched it Smee (mainly cos in the trailer the scenery looked pretty and it's got Peggy from Mad Men in it !) and I quite liked it .
It's going to be a slow burner though I think .

topsyturner · 17/07/2013 19:05

"His apartment over looking the coral sea"
I don't even know where the coral sea is Lily , but I want to be there !!!
Malaria aside , your DS must love his job !

malteserzz · 17/07/2013 19:07

I didn't know apprentice was on at 8 gigs thank you Smile

kitkat1967 · 17/07/2013 19:14

So I've booked a 'deluxe' pedicure and manicure for next week (desperate hoof situation here!!) - that's OK isn't it? No undue infection risk?

trice · 17/07/2013 19:28

Emin, I hope your drugs are sorted soon and you start to feel better.

KurriKurri · 17/07/2013 19:30

Waving back, - very hot here
Things are a bit sunnier thankyou smee. Although Mad sister is being very very odd, and I think up to something dodgy Hmm
