Welcome gigs friend :)
Ruby glad you managed not to puke and that you had a good day did you buy anything nice ?

MrGigs · 27/06/2013 22:11

MrGigs here. Gigs is good ladies but sometimes we have to let our posters catch their breath, build up their strength so that we can power our way through, and stuff. Gimme what you've got whilst Gigs snores,,,,

DomesticCEO · 27/06/2013 22:23

Hello MrGigs, fancy meeting you here Grin!

MrGigs · 27/06/2013 22:23

So let's play...have been to a summer party thingy on the south bank whilst gigs snores...what's going down?...

DomesticCEO · 27/06/2013 22:24

Ruby, thank you. I'm a staggeringly bad cook so perhaps my friend has had a lucky escape and a bag of potatoes will be a blessing Grin.

MrGigs · 27/06/2013 22:29

MrGigs edges backwards towards door, shouting expressions of love towards certain quiet thread members who he loves beyond reason....

malteserzz · 27/06/2013 22:32

Is mr gigs pissed like topsy ?
I'm jealous wish I was !

DomesticCEO · 27/06/2013 22:35

Hi jchoc. Best move as blokes behind having graphic and morose discussion comparing their cancers ConfusedHmm. It is truly the hall of fame for oddities this waiting area.

One of the many reasons I am glad I am single now is drunk man in bed. I don't envy you Gigs. Though MrGigs seems though he is 'good value' when he has had one to many.
Chicken velouté I can report was soothing and delicious and stayed down. I am in awe of anaesthetist she achieved what 12 years and multiple other anaesthetists have to do which is vomit free surgery. She is on my Christmas card list plus tip to hyper hydrate before surgery has meant anaesthetic hangover as all peed out yesterday.
Surgeon reported strange lumps, but didn't look nasty though proof is in histology. So could be weird manifestation of one of my other diseases, something he had originally ruled as being unable to find any reports in literature. May get to join DD being medical journals as a first, can have her having all the glory.

smee · 28/06/2013 10:02

Yay Lone's back. That all sounds reassuring and how fab not to be sick. Smile

Was admitted as emergency late last night so am stuck in hospital. Astonishing rapid swelling - too quick for seroma so they think ruptured blood vessel more likely. Was incredibly painful but they hurled morphine at me. Hooray for drugs.. Will be back later when Dh brings in my charger. Hope everyone's well. Sorry for self centred post.

MAS am thinking about you for your scan xx

Copthallresident · 28/06/2013 10:05

gigs are they having a cancer game of top trumps / Monty python you were lucky sketch? Have heard a few of those in waiting rooms, as you say, so much better in private waiting rooms as they are all speaking Arabic Grin Hope you have a lovely lunch and restful afternoon. Hope Mr gigs head is better. I dread to think what Mr Copt and big Copt are up to downunder, he has yet to ring up sober....... Apparently on first night he got his hosts so drunk in local Rugby Club playing "Keeno" that normally quiet sweet artist friend had to be carried home Blush

lone Welcome to the other side, now you just need to be careful of buses again. Glad it all looked inoffensive too. They tend to know, even if only confirmed by histology. My Consultant knew at first biopsy that it was nasty and told me so.

jchoc hitting the brewery at 4? In an official capacity? Or has someone actually managed to organise a piss up in a brewery?

Have a bit of a headache this morning as given theatre was done by 7 got a bit carried away on lychee and pear cocktails. I blame too much lychee, as Asians regard them as a very hot food and too many are very bad for you www.simplychinese.com/blog/index.php/blog-mainmenu-9/17-insights/51-unique-summer-fruit.html Blimey having read this am going to spend day worrying I am going to get "cranker sores" not sure what they are but sounds worse than headache or Cancer....... Shock plays were fantastic Simon Russell Beale and Alun Armstrong of course were brilliant but so were John Simm and Andrew Scott (Moriarty). The dialogue was just brilliant, I had forgotten how darkly funny Pinter is and rather sweetly Lady Antonia Frazer his widow, was sat at end of row looking really pleased and proud.

Gah! They are drilling and banging in the bathroom (still not finished) Make it stop!

Copthallresident · 28/06/2013 10:10

smee Oh no, that must have been very scary and traumatic, you certainly don't need to apologise for post being about you! I. Hope it is easily sorted out , will you need another OP? Sending lots of hugs.

And also Mas will be thinking of you all day right up until you get your boy safely tucked up in bed.

malteserzz · 28/06/2013 10:42

Smee how scary for you hope all will be well soon
Thinking of Mas too
