Hello!

Three years since our first weight loss thread and we are still here! Just!

Well, I finally did it! I've lost err... 74lbs since May 2011 and now weigh 9 stone 4 and am a size 8-10, as opposed to umm.. 'lots heavier' and a size 16 /18.

I am really wanting to maintain, tone up, drop a couple more lbs and stay like this so any healthy eating /gym chit chat sounds good to me.

Now - where are we all???

It is a good point though, Vinny. Last night I almost rang my single work colleague as there were some fine specimens of lovely manliness in the gym.

YOu do know what they say though love? No pain no gain.
If you really are unhappy with your size/shape, then you have to watch your food and do exercise.

It's shit, but true.

Sorry, that sounded awful bossy, have been stressing on way home! I just get through this diet by knowing it is not forever. But that when I am the size and shape I want to be I will have to not go back to what got me this big. It does definitely come down to having the right head for it, I just haven't for ages. You also need to be able to put yourself first for once. You are worth the effort iyswim.
Now I am going all Oprah on your ass!

I hear what your saying though, i think im only half arsed about it atm because im not that much over weight (yet) i need to lose a stone to be within my bmi, not sure what its going to take to get me in the right frame of mind though, sometimes im quite happy as i am, but other times (like when i have pms) i cant stand this extra flab, and its mostly my boobs that annoy me, maybe i just need to have a boob job and ill be happy

on a positive note, the last guy i went out with (few weeks ago) did compliment me alot about my figure, but he probably likes curvy fat girls

i'll stop moaning about it because im boring myself now

if i had a boyfriend (especially a younger one) i would shift this extra weight in no time

I am off to the gym, I need to atone. I fell face first into a giant tub of Celebrations that DH won last night
I only had 2 but my willpower was tested and found sorely lacking.

Morning! Am at Franks. Had a fab day and night yesterday.

I must say BIWI looks bloody fantastic and I am going to be going on to her thread tomorrow.

I am going to do more classes I think at the gym. I will be looking at the list of what's on when I get home.

Glad you had fun Bella. I rejoined gym today. Am going to spin class after work tomorrow, went to best ever zumba class Friday. Hoping Tuesday's will be 2 classes normally but not this week as dh away. Sunday morning am going to do kettlecise

the only downside is he is 5 ft 7 and he looks like a cross between michael flatley and louis walsh (abet a nicer version) but i can live with that, he was actually very cool and extremely interesting

She is, and I didn't get chance to chat properly on Saturday. Mind you, the whole evening went so quickly I don't think I really talked to anyone properly!

last MN night i went on nobody knew who i was! mind you i think its becasue my badge had 'Vinny' on it and people were like 'who the fucks Vinny?'

im quite proud of myself this week, ive met a man with a boat and ive made it onto the MN talk topics with my 'embarrassing things kids say' fred

Panicing as have first school play date tomorrow. How to keep strange boy (ie a stranger to me!) happy for 3 hours. Without resorting to chocolate cake.

Duh, I have seen such classes but didn't know what it was called. Like cycling through hell only you never get there.
Thanks for playdate tips - have been cleaning flat all morning, maybe should have kept the cleaning till afterwards! Just nice to see him with a little friend

Glad playdate is OK, they are never as bad as you fear!
