Have about 7lb's to lose before my BiG APPLE trip which is ooooh only a few days to go.

Have had quite a good day food wise, apart from the choc hob nob and glass of wine. No gym today as I am doing extra hours at work invigilating.

How the feck is everyone?

Hellooo all

Have had a baaaad weekend away full of food, wine and pimms. Lots of exercise and a sunburnt chest too.

Am home alone now as DH and boys staying up for week whilst I work Envy
That means that I have time to myself to exercise and eat healthily.

I have now finished the 50 shades trilogy and am off to scrub myself with bleach and perhaps read some Proust or summat. My inner goddess is now released though Wink

jaquelinehyde · 05/06/2012 15:48

Oooh have a great time five!

Bitchy blimey you are on it today (haha evening lovelies jinx)!!

For me today so far;

B - mini cheddar Blush and a cup of tea
L - chicken and mushroom soup, 1 slice of wholemeal bread and 5 digestive biscuits.
D - (will be) 2 sausages, mash, mixed veg and gravy.

No snacks yet but I have plenty of calories if I want them.

Also managed 30mins on the step at a good steady pace.

So not to bad here today, weigh in tomorrow morning so fingers crossed!

jaquelinehyde · 05/06/2012 15:50

Oooh lizzy x posts there, your weekend sounds fab!

Bugger about work but enjoy all that me time you can have home alone.

Lizzylou · 05/06/2012 16:31

Oh I will Jaq, just about to do 30 day shred, then have a bit of a pamper evening I think.
You've been doing so well on the food/drink/exercise front, well done you.

Have to say DIB you made me feel slightly nauseous at running up and down steep hills on purpose Shock

MrsNouveauRichards · 05/06/2012 16:36

Hello all.

Have a nice time Fanny

Bitchy I am loving your three breakfasts!

Ooh, a week without children or DH Lizzy, I am a bit Envy

You are doing really well Jaq.

Can't really remember what I have eaten today, going to try to be prepared for better eating next week. Too much sugar being consumed and it makes me feel a bit crappy.

Exciting news here is that we got a new hoover today. It is one of those see through cyclone thingy ones and I am a bit disgusted with all the grot (mostly sand tbh) that was sucked up!

Trills · 05/06/2012 16:48

Hello all. We had friends round for dinner yesterday, made tasty mexican things. I just had to get dressed because the milk had turned from OK-in-my-coffee earlier to makes-lumps-in-tea.

I love 4 day weekends.

Lizzylou · 05/06/2012 18:42

Only 2 nights MrsN, already missing em Confused

I love these long weekends too Trills, has been lovely. I wonder, if Wills and Kate produce an heir, will we get another long weekend?

Did everyone get all patriotic and flag wavey? Or just enjoy the break? I found a lot of the celebrations on TV very cringeworthy in all honesty.

That Thames Pageant was hardly aweinspiring, had been envisaging Hampton Court Alexander Popetastic. Not just a boat with lots of flowers and some Rosie and Jim barges.

Never mind, Footie starts on Friday!!! Grin

Trills · 05/06/2012 18:47

I think we only get long weekends for scheduled events - if they have a baby it might not turn up on schedule.

MrsNouveauRichards · 05/06/2012 19:06

Surely a royal baby would turn up exactly on it's due date! Can you imagine what poor Kate would be going through if she went overdue, its bad enough for us with the texts and phone calls :o

Lizzylou · 05/06/2012 20:10

With those hips, MrsN, Kate will be having a planned C/S for sure Grin
Though as an owner of "childbearing" hips who can't birth naturally, what do I know?

Bath, facemask, juice done, am feeling better already.

Some NOT good pics from my night out on FB. I am a whale!!!

BellaVita · 05/06/2012 20:20

Hello from NY Grin

My body is broken. My feet hurt so much I could weep. When we get back to the UK tomorrow I am going to book into Scholl for a pedicure. We have really loved being in NY.

We have eaten very healthily. We were given complimentary breakfasts in the hotel - fresh fruit (berries, melon, pineapple), selection of bread to toast, cereals, pastries, cheeses, ham and smoked salmon. I skipped the pastries .

We did over indulge on arrival on Sat with cocktails/champagne and at one point on Sun morning I did think MrB might not make it out of bed Grin he does not remember going back to our room or even paying the bar bill.

Ooh child free time Lizzy.... I must admit to missing my boys but it has been good to be a "couple" again with DH.

We went to Tiffany's this morning, I admired a few things but know I would get more for my money at the little jewellers I use in York. My grandad left me some money and am going to buy a piece of jewellery as as a keepsake.

Lizzylou · 05/06/2012 20:35

Bella!
Glad you are having much deserved fun Grin

Sorry about feet, how do the SATC women do it in their Manolos???? Or is that not real life?

I have a face pack on and have groomed, am going to be a Goddess, oh yes sirree.

jaquelinehyde · 05/06/2012 20:36

Bella so glad you have had such a fantastic time.

I think it is a brilliant idea to invest in some jewelry with the money your grandpa left you. What a lovely way to remember him. Have a safejourney home.

Lizzy I can't wait for the footie to start and then straight on to the olympics. I know this doesn't float everyone's boat but I am unbelievably excited by it all.

BellaVita · 05/06/2012 20:45

Lizzy, I think they just must be used to it.

I am going to need a whole load of pampering when I get back.

You will be a vision of lovelyness when MrLizzy returns.

I hate football/Olympicy things Jaq Grin

ThatVikRinA22 · 05/06/2012 21:17

sounds like youve had a fantastic time bella!

MrsNouveauRichards · 06/06/2012 07:08

Sounds fab Bella!

Jaq, I'm not bothered with football, but looking forward to the Olympics.

Taking the kids out today with a friend, hoping the weather stays ok.

MittzressOfMittzchief · 06/06/2012 07:54

Grin Bella, sounds like you are having a ball but did chuckle at needing pampering when you get back..

I love a face pack Lizzy, although can never quite relax as my customers are known to turn up at any time, and have greeted them on more than one occasion with either a mask on or my hair plastered in dye gunk Grin

You are not a whale Lizzy You looked radiant and serene. x

Am looking forward to the olympics Smile

Back to work today Smile

YankNCock · 06/06/2012 08:01

Been a busy couple days, suffice to say eating has not been brilliant. But I went to Pizza Hut and only had 2.5 slices, which is something of a miracle. No starters or desert either, just salad. XH was treating because I was doing some DIY stuff for him, so it's a win in my book

MrsNR, MrYank is fairly fed up of Cambridge Plan now. He's making noises about going on to Dukan instead. His consultant is away on holiday, so he'll stick with it till at least mid June and then if he's not lost much he'll probabably move on. It's quite expensive and we could really do without that!

Jaq, sorry about your laptop, how annoying. Hope they can fix it.

DIB!!! Nice to see you!

Fanny, have fun, see you soon.

Lizzy, are you enjoying your time on your own or missing them already?

Bella, glad you've had fun, and welcome home sometime today, right?

34 weeks today, have weighed in, so far gained 20.8 lbs. Over what I wanted, but so far on track to be under what I gained with DS. Just have to hold it to less than a pound a week!

jaquelinehyde · 06/06/2012 09:11

Can I get a whoop, whoop...I lost 4.5lbs this week Grin

So that's 6.5lbs in two weeks only half a pound off my first 7lb goal of this new push!

Aaaand I am also now officially in the 21's yay!

So current weight is 21st 13lb, next big goal is to get to 21st 7lb and I'm hoping I can do it in the next few weeks before my mum gets back from her holidays!

MittzressOfMittzchief · 06/06/2012 09:51

whoooooop whoop Jaq, that is amazing. GrinThanks

Lizzylou · 06/06/2012 10:16

Go Jaq!!!
Amazingly well done my lovely Grin

Lizzylou · 06/06/2012 10:19

yank, I am at work now, but yes, was v quiet this morning (though no rows about getting shoes on etc!)

I ache after my shred!

shine0ncrazydiamond · 06/06/2012 10:41

jac- that is FANTASTIC. Keep going!

It's so cold this morning that i have the heating on Hmm

Breakfast - strawberries, natural fat free yogurt and kallo brown rice cereal. Lovely. Not

BitchyInTheCorner · 06/06/2012 10:54

Well done Jaq.

Impressed with all the diy you are doing yank

Had a really good day food wise yesterday. there was fruit and veg and food at meal times. although there might have been some strawberry shortcake biscuits at that 3pm dip

Fell asleep really early (infact was woken up to eat tea) had about 18hrs of sleep in total. Still tired but less headachy.

Food today will be out due to waking up late.

BitchyInTheCorner · 06/06/2012 10:56

Bella you sound like you had an amazing time. Seems such a short time though. Envy Makes my trip to belgium later this year seem meh. Grin although I doubt i shall even get to see much of the country due to the reasons for going. Woud you go again if you had the chance?
