Well done Jaq!

Absolutely would go again in a heartbeat Bitchy. We loved it.

I have phoned Scholl up and am booked in for a pedicure tomorrow.

Have just had a brief meeting with The Colonel Blush.

MrB is doing a sterling job of driving us home... only another 115 mile to go.

jaquelinehyde · 06/06/2012 15:25

115miles...you should be home by now bella. Hope you are sat with your feet up and a nice cup of tea handing out presents to the boys!

I've just been for a lovely 45min swim with no one but me in the pool. Bliss.

So far today I have had;
B - 1slice of buttered wholemeal toast and a tea
L - chicken and mushroom soup, 1slice of wholemeal bread and a muller yogurt.
D - is going to be, mince, veg and new potatoes.

Lunch (4:30pm): Homemade egg mayo sandwich. 2 cups of hot squash.

Not enough water in there. No veg. need to put this right. Was contimplating training tonight but think I might go for early training on fri instead.

Lizzylou · 06/06/2012 17:00

Bitchy, why did you mention crumpets???

Yummmmmmmmmm

BitchyInTheCorner · 06/06/2012 17:24

Blush it is what i ate for breakfast. I am battling with a project. I think I have got the placement right now. Going to check with the actual pieces. It is attempt 6. Not happy.

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 06/06/2012 17:32

Good evening everyone.

Crumpets... drooollll...

Hope you all had a lovely Jubilee weekend (or enjoyed the extra day off if you're not into the monarchy).

Now on day 3 of calorie counting and it is going well so far..

Today so far

Toast & Jam
Seafood cocktail Salad
Packet low cal crisps
Toast and marg (got a tad hungry)

Still got 500 cals left for tea. Not sure what to have, but that gives me lots of leeway.

DD having some spectacular meltdowns today! All lots of drama and door slamming. Apparently it is tough being 6!

BellaVita · 06/06/2012 18:07

Boys were here in their own home Mittz. Mum and Dad moved in for the duration.

I would like crumpets NOW Envy

Well done on the swimming Jaq, my least fave exercise. I do have my feet up Grin they are all puffy and horrible. Boys did not get a lot Blush, DS1 got a tshirt by Diesel and some M&M's and DS2 got a tshirt from Abercrombie and Fitch and some M&M's.

OP posts:
jaquelinehyde · 06/06/2012 21:41

Tops and M&Ms sound like perfect bloody presents to me bella.

Now you lot bloody stop it as I am craving for hot buttered crumpets and m&ms - chocolate only though as I can't stand bloody nuts!

BitchyInTheCorner · 06/06/2012 22:01

Bella, sounds like lovely presents to me too.

There was no butter here. Jaq butter isnt allowed. Nor is any other dairy product. It turns out that what was making it hard to breathe recently wasn't hayfever but an allergic reaction to milk on cereal and in coffee. I am having to learn to drink my coffee black. Still need loads of sugar though. :(
On a plus note it doesn't hurt to breathe anymore. Hmm

Tired. Didn't make training tonight. CBA considering early training tomo. Will have to see. Alarm is set but chances of it being turned off again at 4am are high. Am tired though so heading off to bed. Night all and may you all be actively and effortless achieving your goals.

BitchyInTheCorner · 07/06/2012 07:38

Good Morning! Rise and shine. It was a lovely morning here a couple of hours ago. If you have rain, you are welcome to keep it. Grin

Breakfast: scrambled eggs on toast, 2 cups coffee.

Got up for training but couldn't be arsed and got side-tracked. Whoops. Did do half an hour of stretching though. Ah well.

Going to tackle the pile mountain of paperwork. This is guaranteed to ensure much rubbish is eaten. Blush Must try hard to avoid the boredom/eat thingy.

MrsNouveauRichards · 07/06/2012 07:46

Morning all.

Bitchy I am impressed with your breakfast! (bear in mind that I have had biscuits for breakfast more than twice once this week :o )

Bloody knackered atm, not helped by being woken by my car alarm last night. DH went out to see if all ok, and there was a giant moth flying about inside! Took him 10mins to get it out.

Off to see family today, looking forward to it, but know it will be a long day.

BitchyInTheCorner · 07/06/2012 08:03

Am finding if I start the day with a proper breakfast then I snack less and feel much better in general. Working to the feast like a king for breakfast, lunch like a nave, and have supper like a pauper kinda works better for me. Although that is mainly for carb intake, as still have cooked meal for tea which is when I try to eat the veg stuff. No idea how much I weigh though as another 4 weeks before I am allowed to check bloody rules Clothes feel a teeny tiny bit loser just not on my thunder thighs :(

Still considering getting the chest reduced as a means of weight loss though, surely that would remove about 1/2 stone Hmm Grin.

Have a lovely day with family and hope it is enjoyable and stress free!!!!!

Lizzylou · 07/06/2012 08:59

Grin at Bitchy's cunning weightloss plan.

I drink my coffee black at work Bitchy, they have horrid UHT milk so I prefer it, you do get used to it.

Shredded last night and then bath and early bed, all very good on food front too. Could I possibly have refound my willpower?

Bella, presents sound lovely!

BellaVita · 07/06/2012 09:19

Good morning.

I love scrambled eggs Bitchy.

Enjoy your day out MrsN.

I could do to start drinking my coffee black at work (they have semi skimmed milk), I use skimmed at home for coffee/tea.

Have just had sliced banana, yoghurt and a spoonful of granola. Going to get showered and head off into town for my pedicure. I had a lovely long soak in the bath last night, but my feet and legs are still sore. DS2 is moaning he doesn't want to come with me, but I don't want him getting under the feet of the gardeners who we have in at the mo doing our back garden or doing a disappearing act. The little bugger had already asked them their coffee order just as I had got up - was not a pretty site for them I can tell you!

OP posts:
jaquelinehyde · 07/06/2012 09:30

Morning all,

Shit nights sleep here, I finally dropped off at about 2.30am and then woke between 3-4am with the sun blazing into the room. I lay in bed trying to get back to sleep but gave up at 5 and read my book until the dc's woke up!

I'm paying for it now, I'm knackered and have that heavy puffy feeling under my eyes. So today I am going to have to fight to not a, fall asleep and b, reach for the high fat and sugar foods for an energy boost.

I managed to put off breakfast until a normal time and had melon and a cup of tea. So onwards from here.

Bitchy I like the idea of chopping off various body parts to boost weight loss, I shall have to look into this, although a boob reduction is out of the question since I have already dropped 3 cup sizes and dh may go into shock if I reduce them any more Grin

BellaVita · 07/06/2012 13:37

Hope you are not Zzzzzzzing Jaq Grin

Yank, who will look after DS when you go into hospital to have the baby?

Am having a weight watchers meal with brocs, carrots and snow peas. Tonight we are having fish, salad and jersey pots. I will be starting 50 Shades of Grey this afternoon.

Lizzy, how was your sushi? DH and the boys adore it, but it just does not float my boat in anyway shape or form.

Yesterday, in the post, we received a postcard from the Maths Dept at DS1's school - saying they were extremely pleased with the effort and work being produced by him he has got a shit load of exams next week and my knees are knocking for him.

OP posts:
YankNCock · 07/06/2012 16:37

Woooohooooo!!! Well done Jaq!

Bitchy, I think that way of eating (where your meals decrease in size as day goes on) is meant to be quite good. I've had a small go at that today, made a big lunch and will have smaller dinner.

Bella, yay for DS! and good question on DS, nothing is settled! The CM I was using across the street from me would be ideal, but she's got too many kids during weekdays to have DS. I know if I went in during evening or night she'd have him though.

If I go for the ELCS on the day I think I'm going to get, I have a friend standing by who can have him for the day until DH can get back to him.

We'll cobble something together anyway, have two other neighbours that would help out in a pinch and other friends from playgroup that could help if need be.

I asked DH the other day if he thought maybe his mum would come up from London for a few days so DS could stay at home with her, but was mostly kidding. His parents have never been up here since we moved 4+ years ago, and they're not likely to make the effort. To be fair, they both have some health problems, but they are incredibly rigid with their routines. Just following the same patterns for years, waiting to die, and they're only in their 60s!

And it's not like if we go down there it's much different. They are interested in us/DS for about a half hour, and then they just go about their business of watching shit on telly and doing crosswords. Like visiting a care home! We've been going down less and less, partly because of the petrol cost, but partly because we don't see the point.

Actually makes me quite annoyed when I really think of it because my parents would love to see DS 3-4 times a year or more, and they would DO stuff with him and PLAY with him and be thrilled to give over an entire weekend to enjoying DS's company!

Sorry for the long rant---obviously it's getting to me more than I'd realised!

jaquelinehyde · 07/06/2012 16:48

Oh yank how awful that they don't seem interested, can't be much of a life for them either.

Bella that's fab news about ds Grin you should be proud and I'm sure he will do fine in his exams.

No sleeping for me yet which is good news but my eyes are stinging and drooping. The bad news however, is that I have eaten two toffee crisps so far and can feel the third one calling me!!

Luckily even if I eat all three I would still be under my calories for the day so all isn't lost but I will fit in an extra 30mins of exercise before weigh in to counteract the chocolate.

Lizzylou · 07/06/2012 18:38

Oh Yank, your PILs are missing out on your wonderful family and amazingly cheeky/funny boy.

Jaq, at least you're still tracking, not just thinking "fuck it" and diving headfirst into the biscuit tin (which is what I'd do!). A managed lapse if you will.

Bella, yay for DS, how proud are you??

Have had a good food day, my thighs have been aching going up and downstairs all day due to shredding last 2 nights.

MittzbethSalander · 07/06/2012 21:51

Yank I sympathise Sad and it must be especially hurtful with a new born Sad

I exhibited for 4 days from home as part of an Arts event last weekend. There are many issues, but my Mum and Dad said they couldn't come because they might not be able to park.
To be fair, Mum took me and DS to the hospital when he cut his hand but they have never been to an exhibition of mine Sad. (used to go to bro's music concerts, it's not 'jealousy' as such but aches a bit)

Have had little to eat today and not best when I did, as I have been so busy with DC's stuff.... just grabbing toast and the like..

Jaq, I have downloaded Mahjong onto my phone, and when I can't sleep, I just play games of that or Sudoku (not word games as they stimulate me). Bit by bit I play less and my brain seems to like the simplicity of the game and it also locks out 'thoughts' that keep me awake.
Often now after waking and thinking I won't sleep, if I start a game it can be minutes before I am asleep again... might be worth a try.

jaquelinehyde · 08/06/2012 00:09

Oooh what is mahjong and how do you play it? It's got to be worth a try hasn't it.

Yay football starts tomorrow...2 games a day for a few weeks, then straight onto wimbledon and finally the olympics!!!!

Let's just hope for good weather so I can throw the brats outside and watch it all in peace.

BellaVita · 08/06/2012 09:36

Morning.

Am still in bed. I got up to make a drink and get some painkillers for my head and came straight back upstairs. I have had an awful headache most of the night.

Raspberries, yoghurt and granola for breakfast.

It is still raining here. I hate this bloody weather.

Oh Yank Sad. They do sound really stuck in their ways.

Mittz, did you make any sales? Could your parents not come by bus?

Lizzy, yes I am proud Grin. You are putting me to shame with your shredding. I didn't get to the gym last week due to working extra, and today DS1 has got his maths tutor at 2.30 when I would normally be doing Pilates.

DS2 is in trouble Angry he has been spending money on iTunes that he doesn't have. When he got his money into is bank account on the 1st, DH made sure he paid the o/s balance, he also needed a top up for his phone, which basically left him with no money. DH checked his iTunes account last night to find that he had been spending again and owed another £8 which of course he doesn't have. We have paid it but then had to give DS1 the same because it isn't fair on him. It then transpires that a friend of DS2 is hooked up to DS2's iTunes account, so every time something is bought/downloaded the friend gets it for free. I cannot tell you how a angry I am. DH has changed the password and confiscated his iPad. DH checked his phone account (gets free txts and minutes) but here is a comparison between DS1/DS2....

DS1 last month used 2 minutes and 84 txts
DS2 last month used 180 minutes and wait for it.....

1241 yes that is ONE THOUSAND AND TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY ONE txts.

OP posts:
MittzbethSalander · 08/06/2012 09:55

Oh Bella, it makes you so angry. And frustrated.
DS spent £128 on 118 calls with his mates about a year ago.
I just don't think they think, It is hard isn't it?

DS is continually in 'debt' for being such a muppet....

The truth is Dad won't come to any of my exhibitions and hasn't attended one. He didn't want me to go to Uni to do art, (18 or so years ago!) and made his stand then and has stuck to it...

But yes, sales made and someone is getting back to me over a piece because they had already commissioned one with another Artist and then saw my work.

People's responses were so amazing though Smile From the youth that told his Dad my work was 'immense' Blush to a middle aged couple of ladies who spent ages looking at my work and complimented me massively.

It is a nice feeling Smile

Jaq, Mahjong is a 'game' with tiles with pictures on, and you have to match them up in pairs. If you have an App store on your phone, there will be a free section and it should be on there. I found one last night called Logic Ball that was also very very sleep inducing!

I am in my day pyjamas.... could do with no customers turning up for a couple of hours as I am whacked, but due to DS having an awful migraine.

Slurping Tea and coffee at the moment.
