Hiya Grin

I'm Bella...

Have about 7lb's to lose before my BiG APPLE trip which is ooooh only a few days to go.

Have had quite a good day food wise, apart from the choc hob nob and glass of wine. No gym today as I am doing extra hours at work invigilating.

How the feck is everyone?

OP posts:
ThatVikRinA22 · 02/06/2012 17:48

yep well done yank! i good do with inspiration to do mine but i think mine will take a couple of skips and a tonne or so of concrete!

BitchyInTheCorner · 02/06/2012 18:02

Yank - bet you will be glad when you can sit out and look on the lovelyness and not have to worry about any of it.

Food intake has been better today, and i went to the fabric shop so have been playing with fabric. I'd have a nice bag already if i'd put the linning in the right way. Currently about to unpick and redo

breakfast - scrambled egg on toast + coffee
Mid morning - coffee
Lunch time (at 3pm) - baked potatoe and cheese and a coffee
Tea - lamb chop, veg, potatoes and a banana.

been working on the 2ltr water thing - got a 2ltr bottle to help monitor this and it seems to be doing the trick.

Have a dilema - fancy red dress or plain blue. Blue is more flattering then red but red is more suitable for situation.

jaquelinehyde · 02/06/2012 18:05

Which would you feel most confident and comfortable in?

fivegomadindorset · 02/06/2012 18:43

Breakfast 2 slkices granary toast and low fat butter and ham.
Lunch quiche and salad
Supper chicken thighs (no skin) couscous and roasted veg

Have also eaten a chocolate, some kettle chips and half an ice cream, but have walked alot of Brownsea Island with a not quite 4 year old on my shoulders

Alcohol is being drunk.

BitchyInTheCorner · 02/06/2012 18:53

The blue one. Really not great for the circumstances but I will be ultimately happier in it i think. Can take the other and leave it car. Will have time to change if I change mind mind. Thanks. Grin

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 02/06/2012 19:33

Lizzy, you are so correct - wine is most definitely a problem for me (not in a, need help way, btw!!) - it's made from grapes, surely it should count as one of your 5 a day, not pile on the pounds!

BIG SIGH!

So, today,

Breakfast - pain au chocolate
Snacks - 5 wine gums!
Lunch - 3 meatballs, 3 chips, 2 dumplings, veg
Glass of Pimms
Tea - Bread roll, ham, egg, small piece quiche, chicken, 3 chocolate biscuits

Honestly, what the hell is wrong with me! Really must change!

SizzleSazz · 02/06/2012 19:53

Bleugh to crap bacon MrsNR - has DH learnt his lesson?

Yank - well done you guys on the garden, the photo's look fab, and MrYank is looking positively svelte.

Diet sounds good today Bitchy Smile

Alcohol is the reason i teeter on the edge of 'normal' BMI. Did well last week with it, not so good since Friday. However i have managed to eat less to compensate Hmm

B: Porridge
L: 2 teensy packets of Haribo
D: Jacket pot with prawns and lashings of rose marie sauce

Plus Wine................

YankNCock · 02/06/2012 22:38

MrYank is blushing from all the compliments. He still wants to lose another 2 stone in total but will probably end up maintaining at a slightly higher weight.

I had scrambled egg, 1 slice bacon, mushrooms and 1 small slice toast for dinner. I don't think I've eaten hardly any fruit or veg today! Have drunk at least 2 pints of milk though, that's all I want. And steak.

jaquelinehyde · 02/06/2012 23:01

DH has broken my fucking laptop! So upset and bloody angry Aaaaaaarggghhh!!! Stupid man.

My posting will be sporadic as I now have to use dh's stupid bloody blackberry until I have worked out what to do!

MrsNouveauRichards · 03/06/2012 06:40

Oh no Jaq!

Yank, I thought the same when I saw your garden pictures, MrYank is looking really good. Is he desperate to get onto a more normal diet now?

Sazz, I think he has learnt his lesson, mostly because I told him crap bacon could lead to divorce..... :o If I want to eat something so bad for me it has got to be bloody worth it!

I had pimms and lemonade with frozen strawberries in last night - yum! Seeing as we had nachos for dinner, probably best I had some fruit :o

MittzressOfMittzchief · 03/06/2012 10:17

Oh no Jaq, hard not to be upset even if it was an accident. Will it be covered by insurance?
I would be gutted.

Struggled yesterday, NOT listing, apart from claiming I at least had salad for my tea, with a jacket potato! Some buttery stuff but at least it was low fat Blush

I have bacon cravings now though!!
If DC's fetch cobs when they get back we might have bacon butties for late lunch Smile

BitchyInTheCorner · 03/06/2012 21:54

Food:
Breakfast (at lunch time): scrambled egg with mushrooms and bacon in it. Strawberries. two cups coffee
lunch (about 3pm): ham sandwich + bottle of coke.
snack (4pm): chocolate bar
Snack (about 7pm): several chocolate digestives.

Exercise: 5mins (comp).

Hope you are all having lovely weekends and that the weather is not causing you too many problems. Night.

MrsNouveauRichards · 04/06/2012 09:25

Bitchy that actually looks like a day of proper food! Shock :o

My lovely friend came over last night and we had a really good chat about the problems with DS and have come up with a possible plan of action.

Taking DD to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D today as DH has a couple of hours off work. Really looking forward to it.

shine0ncrazydiamond · 04/06/2012 11:54

After a weekend of eating baaad food, I am back to it today and so far have had wholemeal pittas stuffed with roasted veg, hummus and tofu.

Oh and a cherry diet coke.

Going to the cinema this afternoon. Hopefully I shall sleep through the shit that is the avengers

BitchyInTheCorner · 04/06/2012 12:53

Actually there is a meal missing, eating times was out and there is no veg. But better side of rule breaking Grin

Breakfast will be missing because i slept though it. And have only just woken up. Well I suppose that is not so much of a surprise seeing as i went to sleep around 5:30am. Hmm

Veg are my nemasis. I hate the tasteless rubbish they sell in supermarkets. And the sodding weather took the home grown stuff this year. With the exception of the broad beans and tatties.

MrsNouveauRichards · 04/06/2012 15:39

Do you have a decent market near you? Ours is excellent for veg.

Enjoy the sleep cinema Shiney :o

jaquelinehyde · 04/06/2012 17:49

Afternoon ladies, I have contacted the local computer shop and they are ordering a new laptop screen and they will fit it for me when it comes in. So hopefully by the end of the week it will be sorted but I will be £100 lighter!

So food yesterday wasn't good as we had a bbq jubilee picnic but according to mfp I was still within calories as I did 40mins swimming whilst ds was a football.

Today I have had;

B - melon and a cup of tea.
L. - tuna and light salad cream sandwich on brown bread.
D - I have no idea yet but dh is mumbling something about sausage and mash

I have also had a packet of crisps Shock and some apple and sultans crisp biscuit things. So not a fab day really.

Yesterday I made a load of crispie cakes, a banoffee pie and a lemon cheesecake. I sent the pie to school today for afternoon teas (yes it is a school day here) and all the crispie cakes so I'm only having to resist the cheesecake that I'm hoping dh will polish off ASAP!

I'm looking forward to weigh in on Wednesday, I'm hoping for a 2lb loss as I have worked really hard to stick at it this week.

Hope everyone is enjoying their bank holiday's.

ThatVikRinA22 · 04/06/2012 19:03

about wines.

that is all that stands between me and my great plains birdie dress. its a little too tight for comfort. i need to drop about 7lb.

i have raided my pals wardrobe for a waist syncher....though i may not be able to breathe. i wanted to wear it on weds.

today has been
B = crunchy nut cornflakes/semi skimmed
L = ham salad / pineapple
D = salmon / cous cous/ tomato/ courgette

and so far just one Wine

i will no doubt have another.

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 04/06/2012 20:51

Good evening one and all. I am watching the Jubilee Concert and ignoring the Pimms and Vino Collapso.

I have decided to do caloried counting and writing it all down, from today. I am attempting about 1500 cals a day (OK, really 1300, but didn't do so well today!),

Breakfast - Toast and Bertolli
Lunch - Pizza slice, coleslaw, new potato, salad, 1 slice bread & Bbutter
Snacks - sweets (not many) 1 bite choc biscuit (when forgot I was on diet), low cal crisps, popcorn (forgot again!)
Dinner - microwave curry, rice and naan bread (all bought before diet, so I only had a very small amount)
1 drink low cal hot chocolate

Total calories - 1580

Also, did 20 min stroll and 40 mins family bike ride.

Hope you all having a lovely weekend and evening.

jaquelinehyde · 04/06/2012 23:31

Evening lovelies.

No sausage and mash in the end, we had peri, peri chicken and rice instead. Was yummy.

I was going to step tonight but couldn't be bothered.

My SIL gave birth last night Grin another little boy (no3) 8lb 15oz with no name as yet. I really, really want to head down and have a newborn snuggle.

DreamsInBinary · 04/06/2012 23:39

Evening lovlies. Had a lovely day wandering around the Forest of Dean, and then went for a 10km run with the husband this evening. It's a straight route to the Bay and back again, and at the midway point there's a steep hill, so we ran up and down that. Twice :|

Just as well, cos I had an enormous bacon buttie + 2 rocky bars for lunch. Then belly pork for supper.

Now a bit pissed from watching the jubilee concert and drinking lots of wine. Hooray!

DreamsInBinary · 04/06/2012 23:40

Ha! Wasn't copying you with the opener, Jac. It really did take me 8 minutes to write that post...

Congrats to your SIL!

fivegomadindorset · 05/06/2012 09:03

Right I am off, see you all in a couple of weeks.

BitchyInTheCorner · 05/06/2012 10:02

Good morning. today is going well.

5:20am (1st breakfast) Scrambled eggs on toast and cup of coffee
7:30am Muesli bar thing and bottle of coke.
9am (2nd breakfast) 2 crumpets and cup of coffee

Have also done 45mins team training and 45mins individual training and some post training resistance band stretches. Not bad for 10am on a tuesday morning Grin Need to do some flexibility work later though.

I am considering starting couch to 5k tomo. Anywords of advice on this?

BitchyInTheCorner · 05/06/2012 10:03

Have a lovely time Five!
