Hiya Grin

I'm Bella...

Have about 7lb's to lose before my BiG APPLE trip which is ooooh only a few days to go.

Have had quite a good day food wise, apart from the choc hob nob and glass of wine. No gym today as I am doing extra hours at work invigilating.

How the feck is everyone?

OP posts:
YankNCock · 01/06/2012 13:31

Afternoon all....

Breakfast today was a few slices of wafer thin ham and some raisins as I was running out the door.

Early lunch after doctor appt/asthma nurse, DH and I shared a big breakfast at the newly re-opened little cafe in our shopping centre. Sausage, bacon, black pudding, egg, beans, tomato, mushrooms, toast. And a 7UP to settle my tummy. Well, at least it wasn't TOO carby.

I woke up craving meat. I can't stop thinking about steak. I wonder if my iron is low or something?

Vicar, sorry to hear about your holiday, that's shit.

Our local carnival is on Sunday and it will get rained out. It's traditional, happens every year like clockwork. They even moved it a weekend earlier this year, but the universe is not fooled!

YankNCock · 01/06/2012 13:33

Mittz, sorry, meant to ask after your DS, how is he today? My brother had a pretty bad temper at that age, got himself kicked out of high school at the very end, couldn't go to his graduation.

ThatVikRinA22 · 01/06/2012 15:54

well, i really couldnt be arsed to go running so i did an hours workout at home....would have been quicker to go running!

lunch was poached egg on toast

no idea what to have for dinner but i have WW meals in the freezer so i think it will be one of those.

i only have a smidgen of wine left. which is good! (unless i slip another bottle into the trolley....) but i must be controlled and virtuous. its the demon drink that stops me loosing the weight im sure. i eat ok. ish.

SizzleSazz · 01/06/2012 18:37

I am cream crackered. Managed 1hr of pyramid circuits, but was then ambushed by playgroup jubilee buffet tea. Oops.

Vicar - are you sure your DS doesn't have my bank account details too. Always seems far lower than it should Hmm. Wine is my undoing too

Lizzy, i'll bet you looked fab in a tiara Grin

MrsNR i have tin Envy. I might have to buy some as the parentals are coming on Sunday and they always expect a nice biccie to dunk in tea and i usually let them down by having nothing in the house

Boo to weekend rain; hope everyone manages to dodge the rain.

fivegomadindorset · 01/06/2012 20:10

Evening all, I am going to be a bit hit and miss as I amd going on holiday on Tuesday.

Redbindy · 01/06/2012 21:16

Where are going 5?

fivegomadindorset · 01/06/2012 21:19

Ireland, South then North.

Today I have eaten OK I think

2 slices of granary toast, low fat lurpak and marmite.
2 bananas
Ham and tomato sandwich on granary
Grapes

and then it goes pear shaped

Redbindy · 01/06/2012 21:49

Have a great time, would love to go to the South.

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 01/06/2012 22:30

Good evening.

Today I have eaten:

Breafast - crap
Lunch - crap with chips
Snack - doughnut (yum, but crap)
Dinner - crap with white wine

I believe I may have fallen of the wagon today! Not exactly a surprise when I was only clinging on by my finger nails!

five - at least you started off well, I started at pear shaped and have ended at elephant arsed shap!

I would feel sad, but the wine is making me not give a bugger at the moment.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

BitchyInTheCorner · 01/06/2012 22:50

Eating = bad
mood = bad
ability to be nice =hideously lacking

About sums it up here.

Food eaten:
breakfast: 2 cups coffee and a museli bar thing
lunch: bottle of coke and egg mayo sandwich and milkway
tea: dime bar cake, hotdog, and 3 glasses of coke (ikea)
snack: cinnamon roll from ikea.

Diet fail: snacks, proper meals, fruit and veg intake, avoiding caffine, timings of food intake, etc etc etc. time to admit this isn't working and sling my hook i think. Good luck with the diets.

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 01/06/2012 23:27

Bitchy, don't go. Just join me on the trying and sometimes succeeding and sometimes not chat.

My period is due so I am always rubbish then. I'll be about 3 days and I'll be fine (ish).

Come on girl, lets be normal together!

FannyPriceless · 01/06/2012 23:33

I was here once before, in the old days. (Check the spreadsheet, bitches.Grin) I am still fat. Just saying.

ThatVikRinA22 · 01/06/2012 23:33

ah well i went a bit to pot this evening too....

i ended up having a giant (ish) it really wasnt that giant at all tbh....yorkshire pudding with beef and veg filling from morrisons.

then i finished the white wine
then i started the red wine
then it all went to ratshit.....havent eaten any more food but half a bottle of wine later and there we go!

have a brilliant trip to the big apple Bella!! enjoy! one of these school hols we will get a meet up!

MrsNouveauRichards · 02/06/2012 07:37

Not great here either.

Going to the market today

MrsNouveauRichards · 02/06/2012 07:43

Ok, randomly lost half a post Confused

Did say something about getting lots of fruit and veg, meals have been planned and the chocolate cake has been finished, so hopefully do better etc....

B - cup of tea and probably some porridge with raisins
L - scrambled eggs, bacon and tomatoes
S - probably shortbread (why fight the inevitable?) :o
D - fajitas

As much water as I can drink, and too much tea (as pet usual) but it could be worse.

Hope everyone has a good weekend, anyone going anywhere nice? Wink

YankNCock · 02/06/2012 08:33

Morning all! Finished up yesterday's diet fail with tortilla chips, cheese and sour cream (reduced fat) for dinner. Plus 3 mini bags of chocolate buttons.

Everything makes me feel heartburny. I hate Gaviscon, but it's better than the chalky tablets.

Porridge this morning, getting ready to turf the garden, just waiting for stuff to arrive!

BitchyInTheCorner · 02/06/2012 10:40

Yank hope you aren't doing anything stupid and are taking a directorial role. Good luck with getting the turf laid!

Problem is, Mycat, I don't know what it is to eat normally. Can't even remember the last time I did. Today has been better.

Breakfast: One cup of brewed up non instant coffee and scrambled egg on toast - at breakfast time* shock

Woke up without the alarm going off at 8:30am. ds is away for the weekend but is more then happy to sort himself out in the morning (means less restriction on time on ds/tv). So early starts at the weekend are rare around here. Felt rested too. Need a new matress, as evidently the old one is impacting on sleep quality.

Currently on second cup of coffee and about to get started on sorting some of this disaster that is maskerading as my life. First stop - mount washmore. also know as the laundry
bookmark

Hope you all succeed in your goals and that you have good days!

Lizzylou · 02/06/2012 11:13

I have a hangover, went out for lovely meal with some friends.
Lots of wine and even made an appearance at the new nightclub Blush

I have a stamp on my hand! Go me!

Bitchy, I agree with Mycat, meh. It'll work itself out, don't go.

Vicar I think me and you (and poss Mycat) may have the same diet problems. Why can't wine be calorie free??
Bastards.

ThatVikRinA22 · 02/06/2012 12:30

DH says the only solution is to stop buying it.
he is right.

ive lost a pound and i know ive not lost more cos of the wine....

MrsNouveauRichards · 02/06/2012 12:40

The low carb diet allows champagne and red wine, it was a hardship..... :o

I am irrationally cross with DH. He was on call the other night and popped into Tesco at stupid o'clock to pick up some bits. For whatever reason he went for the cheapest eggs and bacon. I am now cooking said eggs and bacon and the difference in quality is shocking! I know it sounds really food snobby of me, but why buy the cheapest when you don't need to when it is such bad quality?

jaquelinehyde · 02/06/2012 14:32

I just wrote a bloody long post and it vanished Angry

Bitchy you are not going anywhere! Look how crap I have been on here before...

Lost 2 stone, put on 4 stone, lost 4 stone, put on six stone Grin

Now I have lost six stone I need to keep on racking up the losses and break this patteren.

Bella hope you have an amazing dirty weekend in the Big Apple, enjoy every second.

Vicar congratulations on the 1lb loss. 1-2lb a week is healthy remember so the wine must be fine Grin

MrsNR just think because it is poorer quality you will probably eat less and save calories for something much nicer later on. I'd say DH has done you a favour, well done MrNR! Smile

Today for me is as follows;

B - Melon and a cup of tea (DH walked to the shop to get me melon 20mins each way)
L - Oxtail soup and a brown roll followed by a Muller light yogurt.
D - Cold roast chicken, lettuce, cucumber, beetroot, cottage cheese and possibly another roll depending on calories. Followed by jelly and fruit and maybe some ice cream.

MrsNouveauRichards · 02/06/2012 17:32

I think I was shocked at how bad the quality was because we have often had Chavsda cheapo bacon and it was pretty good. Seems mad that our butcher has really decent bacon for a really good price and Tesco had really shit stuff and not as cheap as you would think.

Jubilee fever here! DH has taken the kids to town to buy red, blue and white balloons and we are currently colouring bunting :o

ThatVikRinA22 · 02/06/2012 17:38

well, today ive had
brekky - crunchy nut cornflakes and semi skimmed mile
lunch - mango. yep. just mango, on its own. was rushing around!
dinner - burger (small one from a butchers) in a toasted sesame bun with 6 oven chips and a side salad.

and a glass of Wine

am muchos interested in this low carb thing that lets you drink.....what diet is it? and where can i find it?

YankNCock · 02/06/2012 17:39

Bitchy, I didn't do too much any heavy lifting, but did get down in the dirt to fit the turf. Between the two of us we did 45 in only a few hours, and don't need to water as it was lightly raining the whole time and is scheduled to chuck it down tonight. Am so pleased it is done. Can let DS and dogface loose on it in a few weeks. Very tired now though.

Had sausages and oven chips for lunch. Not sure what to eat tonight, am too tired to think about it.

jaquelinehyde · 02/06/2012 17:44

Well done on the garden transformation Yank. Are the completed pics going on FB?

Have you seen the special emoticon Crown Crown Crown I love it!
