Gigondas · 06/04/2012 15:02

Marking spot- big gig "helping" with the ikea fitting while I lie down and Mn supervise.
amber I am glad they are reassessing but will say it again. It's phenomenal what difference there is since you came off- are you superwoman ? Wink
topsy yummy snacks - poor dd but probably not a bad thing for her to rest properly as tired now (rather than feverish poorly sleep).

holsten so glad things are better. Your thread really cheered me up (and inspired meWink) as remember when you were laid low with wound infection now you have been laid low on the dfs. Do keep us updated .

Loving all the pet talk - Smile at j's fussy cat.

NedSchneebly · 06/04/2012 15:16

Marking place too - we are definitely going this evening! Thanks for convincing me i should go for it. The Skimmity hitchers (local Dorset folk band, and who I want to see the most) and the Wurzels. . . Should be a good night!

holsten good for you and welcome back over here!

holstenlips · 06/04/2012 15:24

Thanks, I think I was worried I would lose the ability/confidence and so jumped in the deep end as it were..!
It was fun anyway.
What has been purchased at Ikea gig?
Ned , what was the funny song by the Wurzels (was it combine harvester?)
I'm peckish but as I am child free can't be bothered might have a stroll to chippy later and do some gravy!

MaryAnnSingleton · 06/04/2012 15:37

excellent ned - have a wonderful time !
holsten your thread was impressive ! am in awe.
Has the trolley come over yet ?

OP posts:
NedSchneebly · 06/04/2012 15:50

holsten I think you are referring to "I've got a brand new combine harvester". . . Smile

Jaffa cakes and yummy onion bagels with cream cheese anyone? . . . Though not necessarily together. . .!

Gigondas · 06/04/2012 15:53

Didnt they also do "I am a cider drinker"?

Just shelving and book cAse for girls room. Big gig bored now and watching tree fu Tom on I player. Whoever thought I know let's do a kids programme that is like Karl Douglas does the hungry caterpillar needs shooting .

Chips and gravy sounds lovely. Am pleased you are back on the cock horse so too speak holsten. Can see how it was exactly what you needed in all sorts of ways.

Bagels sounds good...

NedSchneebly · 06/04/2012 15:59

"I am a zider drinker, I drinks it all of the day" . . . Or something similar,I believe Blush

KurriKurri · 06/04/2012 16:08

ta da - here I am - did you wonder why it was so heavy Ned? Grin

Have fun at the concert, I remember the Wurzels Smile haven't heard of the Skimmity Hitchers - but I like the name.

holsten - loved your thread - and well done for jumping in the deep end (as it wereGrin)

Thank you for stroking my head topsy (can you massage my feet now? Grin)

jane - you've made me nostalgic for the ice cream man now - we never get one round here.

Hope the IKEA building goes well Gig - I keep well clear when DH is assembling anything like that - it's guaranteed to make him lose his temper Grin

Happy Feet (cartoon film about penguins) is on ITV 2 at 4.55 today, - in case anyone has bored or poorly DC who want to watch it. (Actually I think I will watch it Grin)

MaryAnnSingleton · 06/04/2012 16:10

KurriKurri · 07/04/2012 11:47

Morning all,

Hope the bugs go soon topsy, and you can enjoy the sunshine.

Hello MAS, hope you have nice weather too

raining here, and I am flapping because the birthday present I ordered online for DDIL hasn't arrived, and they are coming over this weekend. I ordered it on Monday, and paid £3.00 postage [buhmm] so was assuming it would get here - annoying because its a kind of essential part of the gifts I've got her. [bubother and bubugger]

graciesmall09 · 07/04/2012 12:33

Morning everyone,

[busmile] Happy Easter. We have the house bulging at the seams with chocolate - just how I like it. Unlike other years when I resort to stealing the children's eggs I have lots of chocolate of my own. People have been buying it by the pound [bugrin] At the risk of outing myself, chocolate is what got me to this point today. I was on diet 54 of 2012 and I was snaffling checking the children's chocolate when a little bit broke off and went down my bra. It melted and I rubbed it away et voila found my lump. Always knew chocolate was good for you. I will donate some to the trolley.

Hope the sick bugs are being blown away with the wind that has come along with the sun topsy. DC3 is now on antibiotics as her throat is lovely and spotty, hoping it doesn't do the rounds.

Kurri I hate when that happens, especially when you pay extra. Have you contacted the company, perhaps it is coming via courier and will come along later today. Glad (well if you can call it that) to have found another triple positive person. There don't seem to be many of us about. Typical of me to be greedy (greedy pig smiley).

Hope everyone has a fab day. I spent all of yesterday getting my MRI and CT scan done - boy that MRI is no fun. They said just lie and dream you are lying on a beach - more like a runway at Heathrow Airport. Nightmare, at one stage I thought I was going to have to buzz for them to stop but thought I would look like a wimp.

MaryAnnSingleton · 07/04/2012 13:19

that is so annoying about the present kk - grrrr.
Waves to gracie
