Dh and I really disagree on this.

OP posts:
BimboNo5 · 24/09/2011 11:45

we've only just bought PIMS into line

Would you fucking listen to yourself?

silverfrog · 24/09/2011 11:48

so you are implying that I post only on vax threads?

blimey, did you do as much research (ie none) into any of the vax efficacy rates or safety rates as you appear to have done on MN (you clearly have not read much on MN - I post all over the place)

PIMSoclock · 24/09/2011 11:50

We've only just brought Pims into line

HA!! its a good thing I have a sense of humour!!
I was never out of line. It takes two sides for a debate to get heated

PIMSoclock · 24/09/2011 11:51

Bimbo, you must change your name for these threads as I feel people are personally insulting your intelligence every time they address you directly!!

Blueberties · 24/09/2011 11:57

Pims: you've certainly managed to stick more closely to the issues this morning and avoid the name-calling you'd fallen into over a couple of days, since I spoke to you openly about it last night and asked you to stop.

That's to be applauded - good. Let's keep it that way and try to ignore bimbo's "contributions" which would appear to be less than helpful here.

PIMSoclock · 24/09/2011 12:00

Hmm Im not entirely sure what you are on about. Ive not been involved in any name calling. I do remember quite a few rants from you last night, after which I asked you to stick to the debate?!

Perhaps we should be getting more sleep rather than staying up posting, seems to be affecting your memory and perceptions

Blueberties · 24/09/2011 12:02

Pims: anyone reading the thread knows what was said.

I'll withdraw for now while you and Bimbo need to get whatever you need to get out of your system.

I'm still interested in seeing your link which I missed earlier: if you can remember when you posted it, even what day, it would be helpful.

BimboNo5 · 24/09/2011 12:03

Why ignore my contributions? Oh yes, because I disagree with practically everything that spews out of your brain? This thread goes to show, just a handful (of the same old zealots) actually agree with you, the vast majority think what you say has little relevence. Thats good enough for me!

gosh! what a lot of personal anger stirred up over other people's opinions! What does it actually matter if other people don't agree with you all? What exactly is the reason for trying to argue with pepole who will never turn round and say 'why gosh!, you are right!'.
To the passerby, this just comes across as petty point scoring and a waste of time.

...but, guess if you are enjoying it, then 'as you were!'

PIMSoclock · 24/09/2011 12:11

Bb, read the thread it's ALL there

Bimbo, STOP!! my sides are hurting with laughing. I don't think my pelvic floor can take much more

PIMSoclock · 24/09/2011 12:14

MC, a valid point. Unfortunately, this is how most vax threads end. A few posters committed to the cause trying to find the best conspiracy theory or bemuse people with twisted random statistics.
I agree it should go back to the principle of providing good, unbiased information.
Happy to post any further info requested to help individuals make an informed decision Smile

silverfrog · 24/09/2011 12:20

bimbo, you are demonstrating with each post you make how much you rely on personal insult and abuse, rather than actual fact.

PIMS - laughing along wiht someone who is resorting to personal insult is unedifying, to say the least. says a lot about a person, the fact that they can do that.

quite why the resolutely pro-vaccine crew cannot actually manage to post without sinking to such depths remains mystifying.

PIMSoclock · 24/09/2011 12:22

Silverfrog, find your sense of humour and get back to the point

MigratingCoconuts · 24/09/2011 12:23

personally speaking, my DD will be vaccinated when she is old enough and inmy mind here is no question of this being otherwise.

If other people had concerns though, like Op, then MN should be the place to come to find informed evidence and advice.

MigratingCoconuts · 24/09/2011 12:27

I meant to add that, if the advice is contradictory, that is fine...Mnetters can read and draw their own conclusions... Smile

I don't mean report, I mean repost -- the link you mentioned earlier on safety studies.

Blueberties · 24/09/2011 12:46

Oh Migrating you are absolutely right, so right - that is what it should be.

PIMSoclock · 24/09/2011 13:00

If you two have a personal gripe with me, I suggest we take it outside this thread.
Pm me or start another thread somewhere else. Your own personal insults are now clogging up this thread.

There are people coming here looking for scientific evidenced based info, not playground politics.

I will continue to post objective and scientific data to try and help people make an informed decision

Blueberties · 24/09/2011 13:13

I spoke to you last night on the thread Pims. I have nothing to hide. I don't want to PM you -- I've said all I will say.

You introduced insulting playground behaviour and it ill behoves you to complain about it without admitting how wrong you were to do so.

silverfrog · 24/09/2011 13:14

oh, nice try PIMS. what on earth have I posted that would make you think I have a personal gripe with you?

why would you even try to twist that round that way

MigratingCoconuts · 24/09/2011 13:50

I see my attempts here made all the difference

PIMSoclock · 24/09/2011 13:53

Please you two! Take it outside this thread
