Misdee said to me earlier that the hospital are unsure if the damage to his sight in his left eye is permatant or not. The part of the brain had has been damaged controls his sight.

ScummyMummy · 22/10/2005 20:18

its the part of the brain that is connected to sight, sometimes blood clots form in the VAD, despite all the warfarin etc. we are back to wait and see again. am about to call the hospital for an update.

Just checking in again to see how things are going. xxx

misdee · 22/10/2005 22:18

spoken to peter, his docs thinks he should regain his sight in the next week or so, looks like the damage should repair itself. but if it doesnt reurn then it could be a lot more serious and he will be taken off the list.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 22/10/2005 22:20

just clear this up for me misdee.... only if his sight DOESNT come back then he is off the list, off is he OFF the list already?

Sorry, dumb pg brain!

Huge love and hugs to you all xxx

misdee · 22/10/2005 22:25

he is ON the list atm, the docs are oing to speak to the surgeons, as they have put peter on aspirin as well as warfarin so he will bleed freely. if his sigt doesnt return then he may be taken off the list again.
