am doing slow cooked chicken in white wine sauce. chucked the chicken in raw. hope it'll be ok.

It will be fine. I have bunged frozen meat in the slow cooker before.

My theory is that by the time it has cooked for hours, all the bacteria will be long gone. I've not killed us yet!

i was reading The Beauty Myth last night (as you do when on the 30 mins that isnt your shift with the baby ) anyway it reminded me of someone i used to know a long time ago that always spent a fortune on make up. Used to make me laugh because no matter how much money you spend if you weren't born errr 'pretty' you can't change it with slap. Miaow. Anyway, the point was, beyond me being catty, that she'd obviously bought into it (TBM), was most interesting reading. Although a bit high brow for me.
