Hello, I thought you had all buggered off, I didn't realise there was a new thread.

I'm Bitter, I am currently piling on the pounds as a result of giving up smoking. I've gone from 40+ ciggies a day to zero on nothing but will power, so will forgive my stomach for now.

I also am off to work in a bit.

Please can I join?

I gave up smoking for the new year! It has been hell so far, but think I am over the worst now.

bitter I am going through one and half packet of biscuits a day atm. I go into the kitchen (I smoked at the back door) and don't know what reason I have for going in so I have another biscuit. I am not over weight though but I soon will be!

Hey Micky, welcome Smile

A word of warning, we are the worst healthy eating thread ever, but if you are eating a packet of biscuits a day you should fit right in! Grin

BitterAndStout · 08/01/2011 17:18

Have you read Allen Carr Micky? I found that really helpful on previous attempts.

MickyLee · 08/01/2011 17:44

Cheers for the welcome.

I feel I should lay all my cards on the table before I go any futher. I have in fact not only had a packet of biscuits, but a burgerking meal and cheesecake to finish. Then just eaten a bar of chocolate! I just can't stop eating Blush

I have heard about this Alan Carr guy and his book. He sounds great! Only problem is I live overseas and Amazon charge quite a bit extra to deliver here. I have been really good cold turkey. But have in fact been an utter bitch to Dh and maybe shouty irritable to the DC

Feeling more 'normal' now though thankfully :)
