Cards all done, fourth wash on, dryer on, DH home (thank God), fridge full to bursting, fizz chilliing, turkey off to the cabin (lucky bugger), DD showered and dressed, beer, wine, and diet coke, got.

Breads and salad stuff for turkey baps got, crack pies, sausage rolls, coleslaw, yep.

Nappies and meds all got.

Dining room, cleared, table dressed, bathroom bleached to within an inch of it's life, windows opened for 10 seconds and shut again,.........

1 sleep to go!!!

I am getting a wee bit giddy!!!!!

House is till a tip, DD won't nap.

Send her here Blitz - she can help me finish the kitchen off and take the recycling out.

DH has bought a little Christmas tree. We're going to plant it when the grown thaws a bit for the triplets.

laundry mountain is dealt with, we have enough clothes clean and ironed to see us through and the rest is hidden away.

bathroom is clean, dining table sort of set and sideboard cleared for piling food on.

i'm at a bit of an impass now as ds is asleep on the sofa so hoovering is out.

guess i should tackle the kitchen.

you can guess my new years resolutions.

Kitchen was clean, but DC are eating so it won't be for long. I need to hoover and find my tablets.

the trouble with bastard children is they go rootling around upstairs too so you can't rely on the close all the doors bar the bathroom trick.

i'm seriously knackered. ds is going to christmas carol service whether he is well enough or not. gonna need an hour or two to myself to focus on cooking and maybe even get a wash.

far too much god bothering getting into him though - he told me the other day that he wanted jesus to come down and be with him again. apparently when he was younger he would come and spend all day with him but he doesn't come anymore. must not tell my mother/sister or they'll be convinced my loss of faith has removed the holy spirit from the house or some such.

Blitz - where/when did you last have them? Have you moved them out of the DCs way?

Satan - DD asked me if I believed in God this week. I said no. But I have no idea why. I don't believe in 'him' as such..... I think there is a 'higher power/karma' type force at times.

Bubs - been thinking about your heating issues, I think you may have an air leak in the system. If your rads keep filling with air when the system is on, that could be why.

Re your water supply, buggeration!! Can no-one do anything to help?
