have broached the idea with ds that he'll need to make room for new, big boy toys that are coming at christmas by getting rid of old toys that are more for babies.

he seemed to buy it so big clear out tomorrow.

just had boiler man here annoyed with me that i don't know the number that flashes on the boiler when the pilot light blows out didn't know it did.

ds charmed him though by telling he'd got a cat look! he's like a tiger, his name is brian then we thought he's a girl but he's got a tinky!

also due to have someone come see why the plaster is falling off the wall on the stairs (my dad says not sealed, i'm convinced the house is subsiding) and to have hinges fixed on window so heating doesn't just pour out the gap anymore. and a survey for putting more insulation in the loft.

so guess i better get used to strange men in the house looking at my piles of ironing (cat has knocked iron off and broke it)

all interesting stuff i'm sure you'll agree.

oh and i agreed to cook dinner for sis and the kids tomorrow so have to find somewhere to hide said mountain of laundry so we can actually use the table and chairs.

aunty mabel is building a wall today. she's a woman of many talents. maybe i'll get a dog and an airoplane and be like her in my spinsterhood.

good morning! am on the library computer take it I missed the errm contentious stuff from last night, that's it all been deleted by now, ah well.

have taken stuff to charity shop so house is marginally less of a midden. but need to go home and do more. rather than go to more shops and start recluttering the house

have got a crumpet thing at the moment for breakfast - tehy are pretty low fat, which was a good discovery.

hey tc. i'm sorting out piles here - for bin, for charity, offer to people etc. slow progress but determined this place will eventually be a hive of efficiency and declutteredness.
