DD is in bed. Totally shattered! Had a fab day with my folk's. Had a few suprise guests, friends and family that we'd not seen for ages and my brother got the day oof work so I got to see him too.

Lovely day.

I'm starved though. Nibbles were served and sandwiches. I need more food. [pig emoticon]

We drove home (and there but in the light) through freezing fog. Very very scary in the dark and with no over head lights.

Not great for anxiety!!

was meant to be watching dvds this afternoon with dd1 but dd2 refused to sleep so i had to go upstairs with her and ended up falling asleep on the bed with her. I didn't get back up till 6pm

DP is valiantly trying to put her to bed now for the third time (she actually woke up at 4pm and came downstairs)

i want potato salad now!

Brian - tis hellish when they don't go to sleep.

Nemo is protesting at being put to bed by kicking his cot and going 'oooooooooooo, eh eh oooooooooo' - kick - 'oooooooooooooo, eh eh oooooooooooo' - kick - 'ooo' you get the drift.

Off to watch tv with DH. We are going to try and sleep in the same bed tonight for the first time in over 2 weeks!

We have freezing fog here. We drove through it earlier but I thought it would 'sit' in the valley but it appears not.

Are all the schools back open there now? DD was most pissed off that she had to keep going to school even though the village school was shut.

And.............. I am struggling to handle the fact that DD plucked her eyebrows today. She did a great job really.

But my mum picked up on it and had a go at me.

I'd straightend her hair, helped with her mak-up etc but mum thought that her doing that was too much.

To make it worse, I had no idea she'd done it. She did it this morning whilst I was caring for Nemo.

Which in turn made me feel doubley twatish.

I kind of chatted with her about it and said that I'd help her next time, I used to do that as well, brow plucking. No, not a youfamisum (spelt how it sounds)

DD is hairy on her legs too. I told her we'll Veet them.

My mum let me shave at 13/14 and I cut myself to shreds. Bloody Bic disposable razors.
