Kitchen is sorted. I am eating a crunchie that I opened one of the DC's selection boxes in order to purloin.

I may have to eat the entire box now, just to hide the evidence.

Hello - not been on so much as laptop lead knackered (the original adapter broke, the company were gits even tho it was within warranty, so DH every few months does some precarious soldering to get it to work). this is probably not too worrying

also been parenting. making low fat carrot cake. except managed to slightly burn my hand taking it out of oven. Doh. thought I would get away with running it under cold water for about 10 secs. Double Doh. Ouch. It's only a penny piece sized area, so not an A & E job btw.

DS also tends to be extraordinarily chatty. All those years ago, I thought I would belt anyone who said - you'll soon be wanting him to shut up. But it has come //historical note - at 3 Ds was severely lang delayed. so either mindlessly regurgitating dora the explorer scripts or his real speech was of the father jack variety "orange juice!" "biscuit!" etc. A spooky time. Absolutely horrendous. Even though he has semi-miraculously caught up a lot of ground, it has really shaped me as person.
